Yea, they worked great for me when I was using them.

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
I appreciate all the work you put into this slider set breh.
That said, these sliders turned once professional ball players into bumbling idiots. All of a sudden, no one can make simple passes. Seriously, I get about 8 turnovers a game just trying to inbound the ball. For some reason the passer just forgets basic motor skills and throws the ball to the other side of the court when trying to make a three foot pass.PS: You guys are great.

Re: The Purist(s) *** 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
2k share has 2 of these for live. one is jan 19 (or 11 i forget), the other jan 24. the jan24 has a small description and the jan19 has the more detailed description. i went with jan 19 but is that the one with all the changes?Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Hey green. First let me applaud your work on your sliders. I have a question on fast breaks. I noticed your fast break under coaches profile has the heat's fast break very low. Also , on fast breaks especially on rebounds it seams with the hustle @ 55 , players don't get up court. I have tested this at 100 and coupled with 100 on fast break under coaches profile. It produces a better flow as far as players getting up court and continue to move up court. Just wondering what your input was on this.Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
I downloaded The Purist NBA 2K11 Post-Patch Sliders v3.5 1.16.11 from 2kshare today. But this slider is not the same as what is posted on the first page. (e.g. all cpu and human Tendencies are 50 on this file... there are many differences too)
It was uploaded by gamer tag Tuesdays Prize on Jan 19th with over 1100 downloads. Did I download a fake or something?
I am manually going to adjust to what is on the first page for now but I thought I should let you know. (it's strange to see different versions on 2kshare and on here... )Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Celg: I haven't played the game since January. I'm not a good person to ask this question. Everyone requesting that they be uploaded, etc: implement the settings manually. It's not difficult. And, you'll be sure they are accurate. PS Cesco's tweaks are on page 175, I think.Originally posted by Fabian Avenarius Lloyd[...] a man of subtlety or refinement is almost always nothing but an idiot.Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Here are my changes:
- Pass accuracy: 41/38 -> to have realistic T/O (DON'T DO IT IF YOU HATE BAD PASSES)
- Driving Contact Shot Frequency: 100 (set at max to tweak better fouls)
- Inside Contact Shot Frequency: 100 (same as before)
- Steal Success: 55
- Hands: 78/76
- Offensive Rebounding: 50
- Defensive Rebounding: 50
- Play Passing Lane: 60 (both HUM and CPU)
- Shooting Foul Frequency: 69/61 (don't change it if you don't have foul problems... raise HUM = more shoot fouls called against you, same for CPU... tweak accordingly)
I'll give a try to clutch, promise................................................... ...................

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Ah man, played about 4 games with these sliders on my association and I thought they were borken when I was shooting high-60% and 100% FT in all those games (against the Lakers, Sun, Bucks, Warriors) then I realised 2K11 had randomly changed my settings to shot stick timing instead of real player % I feel like Ive cheated my Association mode depite being 70 games into my 82 game season (played all of them)Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Hey guys ive heard about these sliders and im considering experimenting with them.First of all I average 35points 10 assists and 4 rebounds on 51 per cent shooting as a pg in my player on simulation level and superstar level. We keep winning everygame as the game has simply become too easy even when i bump it onto hall of fame.Im wondering whether these game sliders changes will changee the gameplay for my player or its only for when playing as a team. Also when I download a slider from 2kshare how do I then load it ingame. Thanks in advance help would be well appreciatedComment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Hey, everyone how are the stats when using these sliders.
Is it a Half court game (Which I Like) or is it a fast break type of game when both teams score over 100
Also how about offensive rebounds I get about 1-5 with just simulation sliders
Thank youComment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Hey there!
I was just wondering if all of the developers of this sliders set that still play (pabby, cesco, ewing ...) left this thread or left this game? If not I'd be super glad to hear how are this sliders working for you on the long run and if you made any tweaks on them (shooting, fouls, etc.)?
Thanks to all that have put this much work into this (especially Greenie). I tried many sets but this one plays the sweetest game for me. Still looking for improvement though, guess Im a bit of an OCD gamer myself as pabby stated.
P.S. My tweaks so far:
Go for on ball steals 90/90
The cpu playmakers (especially star ones with high steal tendency) got too much fouls early in the game and got subbed by the coach.
Shooting foul frequency 66/64
Lowered the cpu one because players like Dwight Howard were always sitting on the bench because of too many committed fouls. Upped the human one because the average of team fouls per game was too low. Still experimenting but as Greenie stated the fouls are inconsistent.
3pt success 53/51
Raised the HUM one because of too low average in the long run. Most sharp shooters got nerfed by the official rosters.
Offensive rebounding 100/50
Lowered the cpu one because of balance. Now we average a similar number of OFRB per game.
Deffensive rebounding 50/50
Followed Cesco here and it works.Last edited by Knickerbocker; 04-16-2011, 07:29 AM.“If you meet the Buddha in the lane, feed him the ball.”-Phil Jackson
