Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Played the Kings and won 100-98. Now Im 13-9 It was close throughout and we traded hoops through out the 4th. Nick Young passed to Wall for a layup(wall had a bad shooting night though) to get me up 3. Then Evans hit a layup to get them within one. Young made 1 miss 1. Dalmbert took his first shot of the game, a mid range jumper to tie it with 2 seconds left. Then I called time, and on the inbounce I hit Young cutting toward the hoop for the GW layup with 1.2 seconds left.

Yes, I don't think it matters-- the sliders should regulate the league, the coaching profiles should regulate the teams, and the roster should regulate the players.Last edited by greenieblue; 01-18-2011, 02:31 PM.Originally posted by Fabian Avenarius Lloyd[...] a man of subtlety or refinement is almost always nothing but an idiot.Comment

Nice stats, man. They pretty much look perfect. And, you've now beat two terrible teams, as you should.Originally posted by Fabian Avenarius Lloyd[...] a man of subtlety or refinement is almost always nothing but an idiot.Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Haven't finished trying these yet but... does the CPU double team the hot man? Thing i hate with previous sliders i tried was that i could dominate a game with for example , Melo, and noone would come help.Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
anyone got any tips on how to play with these sliders? i am good, probably too good - which is why i'm trying these out again, for the difficulties on this game so i want to be able to experience the kind of gameplay you guys are having w/o throwing my controller out of the window. i played one quarter with these and shot 18% on the court with the hawks while the suns outscored me 39-18 in the first quarter. i obviously need help with all faces of the game. the suns seemed to be eshooting as soon as they got the ball. but any help woudl be appreciated!Comment

First off, excellent sliders greenie. Plays great. Great stats. Mimics real life NBA as much as I've seen a bball sim.
My issue...I HATE all star. It plays great and I love the cpu's intelligence...until the last 2 to 3 minutes when video game logic takes over. You can almost pinpoint the time for the computer to make its "run." I don't mind losing games when I start taking bad shots, become undisciplined on D and resort to "video game" tactics. But I hate feeling like a game is just stolen from me...to have a unbelievable realistic experience for a good 45 min real time, to end up feeling like a waste.
Again, great work.Comment

I still feel that sometimes CPU makes absurd runs and throw up forced shoots that you never see when they are ahead, but lately I've become a much more challenging player for the CPU :-DComment
