But, please be respectful and remember that Cesco is half the reason you have the sliders you love so much.
Word, i hear you regarding the Wins and Losses, i agree. Again, i meant no hard with my previous post's shout out to Cesco for doing his part and helping with these great sliders!

The trick is to not remove this from AS to make it realistic, to not make AS become PRO+.

The majority of passing on PRO is play-based, not court-awareness based. Players seem much more single-minded on PRO. On AS, when a player ends up in a sticky situation, they dish the ball a lot more.
I understand what you are saying. Maybe I don't fully grasp what your are trying to accomplish with the final set.

As of now every game is a FULL BLOWN dogfight. There is no doubt that the cpu is gonna give you a run for your money. I personally liked the randomness of your Pro set and I thought those were money. With the current AS set I feel that I can never just have a game vs a weaker team and dominate. If you are the Lakers, Celtics, Heat you would expect to blast teams such as the Nets, Raptors but right now it just does not happen.

Shots are made at a ridiculous amount for the cpu and the hum player can have the same shot and it won't drop. I've had wide-open layups from Kobe, Gasol, Odom that they miss because it seems the cpu wants to keep the game close or maybe the %'s don't jive with the sliders.

Hell I lost to the Nets by 1 after having a 20 plus point lead in the 3rd qtr and to make matters worse in that game Odom dunks and is not credited with 2 points and the cpu did not even take the ball out and I lose the game by 1 if I remember correctly. I looked at the replay to make sure I made the shot, now add to the fact that it was late in the 4th qtr and I was missing wide open dunks/gimme layups?? Not sure why this happened to me.

I love the movement and most of the things your set provides but 2ft passes that leads to TO's several times a game just does not happen in real life when a def is not around. I wonder if the desire to get realistic stats is coming at the expense of REAL-LIFE BALL???

I'm still gonna keep reading this thread because I enjoy what everyone is bringing to the table mostly everyone. Lol

^^that is one of my main issues with these sliders, the short passes that go flying outta bounds. They are unrealistic, and give the opposing side a free shot on offense after the TO.

It happens to me 2-5 times a game along with the inbounds pass from the side. I panic everytime I have to take the ball out from the side wondering if I am gonna have a to.

I just lost against the Bobcats. I'm 4-2 now.
I had to raise all the user shooting sliders up one, I was shooting in the low 30% range while the computer was shooting around 45 which is about average so I think i'll leave the cpu sliders alone.

8 games left. Post stats if you use the sliders exactly as posted on page 1 of this thread.

This is not the problem, imo. In fact, if I could make it happen 7 times a game on both sides, I'd welcome it.

You shouldn't have to resort to going for on-ball steals to inflate the TO numbers. And steals should never be = TO. Unfortunately, AS seems to have virtually negated the TO progress I made on PRO.

But, make no mistake, I want it to happen more, not less.

                    Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)

Issues I'm seeing right now with the base slider set.

Loose Balls. As soon as a ball is knocked loose the entire team runs straight for it leaving their assigned players. The CPU team picks up the ball and just throws it to the wide open guy. With steals happening too often this is how the CPU gets easy points off me. I play great defense, deflect the ball but my stupid teammates leave their assignment when they have no chance of getting the ball.

CPU recovery speed. I attack the basket a lot. The CPU post defenders will shift over quickly to put me in a canned block animation. They leave their feet, I pass out to the open defender, and they magically have a hand up in his face before he gets a shot off. CPU big men recover way to fast it seems.

Human Layups seem a little too hard to me. I can be on a fast break with a pg with 99 layup 85 SIT and still miss if the CPU is remotely close, whether they try to defend or not.

CPU players will do amazing things to avoid being blocked/contested by someone with a low block rating. I'll come over on help defense and time it perfectly but the CPU will twist his body 180 degrees and pass it out to the wide open teammate that he should have no idea where he is. It doesn't matter how late in the shot animation he is, he can land back on the ground and still pass it out.

These are just a few gripes I have. I'm not too knowledgeable with the sliders but I'm guessing some of them can't be fixed.

These passes are ridiculous. I'm talking a 5 foot pass flying over my players head and going into the 10th row, WTF. The bad passes are giving the CPU too many chances on offense. Inbound passes are just as bad. I understand you want to get good TO numbers, but this is ridiculous.

                        Pass acc to 50. Solved.

Hustle slider.

CPU recovery speed. I attack the basket a lot. The CPU post defenders will shift over quickly to put me in a canned block animation. They leave their feet, I pass out to the open defender, and they magically have a hand up in his face before he gets a shot off. CPU big men recover way to fast it seems. Help D/ Block slider.

Human Layups seem a little too hard to me. I can be on a fast break with a pg with 99 layup 85 SIT and still miss if the CPU is remotely close, whether they try to defend or not. Contact shot/ layup slider.

Off awr slider.

These are just a few gripes I have. I'm not too knowledgeable with the sliders but I'm guessing some of them can't be fixed.
                          Appropriate sliders listed beside issues.

If this can be eliminated or even turned down to about half I think the wins will start going up. It just does not happen at a realistic occurence. I am just not having fun with every game being such a grind no matter the opponent.

Also the impossible shotmaking by the cpu to attain realistic stats are killing the fun factor.

I think I am gonna start my new ASSC on Pro and if somethings change in the future I will be in thats for sure.

FlightWhite, I soo those errand passes being made by the CPU also. I don't think that's the reason AS is so difficult for someone. I see the same also on PRO, it's the low Pass Acc slider. It can be solved with this slider but the difficulty would be the same I think.

I get a win!!! 109-101 over the Bobcats I came out hot early leading by 8 after one(Mcgee had 10 in the 1st) They fought back took a one point lead at half. They pulled ahead by 8 heading into the 4th. I fought back to tie midway through the 4th and we basiclly traded buckets for a lot of the game and I got up by 8 because of them fouling me. Wall and Beaubois made the big shots in the 4th
