Just had a fun game. I thought I was gonna blow them out. But they caught up because of my sloppiness. I was down 2 pts at the end and Kobe made a clutch 3 pter. Then later the blazers made a 3 pt play to tie the game up. And then Kobe shot the last shot. I thought it was gonna be the last shot, but Odom attempt a putback layup! and Blazers was called for a goaltend lol. It was gonna go in anyways. Here are the stats:

        Blazers vs Lakers(me)

        84 Points 86
        34/82 FG 35/80
        41% FG% 43%
        6/13 3 Pters 5/17
        46% 3 Pters% 29%
        10/16 FTs 11/15
        62% FT% 73%
        22 Asts 17
        8 TOs 11
        11 Fouls 14
        48 Tot Rebs 41
        9 Off Rebs 7
        9 Stls 7
        1 Blks 8
        38 PiP 48
        32 BH Pts 16
        10 2ndcPts 10
        2 FB Pts 4

Fernandez 17 pts 5 reb 2 ast (he had 15 at halftime)
        Aldridge 14 pts 15 rebs 2 ast
        Roy 13 pts 3 rebs 3 ast
        Matthews 12 pts 6 rebs 3 ast

        Bryant 23 pts 5 rebs 6 ast
        Odom 13 pts 10 rebs 1 ast
        Barnes 11 pts 12 rebs 3 ast

Just about perfect for me now, MK. I had to bump up the CPU shooting sliders a click to get the FG% back into the 40's. Human sliders are right on the money. Good work.

They're just about perfect for me, too. The results of my last game were as follows:

            Suns (me) - Kings (CPU)

            Points: 102 - 93
            FG: 39/76 - 36/83
            FG%: 51% - 43%
            3PT: 8/18 - 4/16
            3PT%: 44% - 25%
            FT: 16/18 - 17/22
            FT%: 88% - 77%
            Assists: 23 - 23
            Turnovers: 12 - 8
            Team Fouls: 16 - 11
            Rebounds: 35 - 37
            Off. Rebounds: 5 - 9
            Steals: 6 - 9
            Blocks: 9 - 5
            Points in the Paint: 32 - 36
            Bench Points: 14 - 36
            Second Chance Points: 8 - 8
            Fast Break Points: 10 - 6

My FG% is a bit high due to the 4th quarter, in which I shot 64%. I lost throughout much of the game, but Nash rose to the occasion in the 4th quarter and they couldn't stop him.

              Yep,they play very well..played 2 games last night :

Got blown out with the Hawks by the Spurs, even though Duncan was out but the offense got tired in this back to back game(32pts at halftime & 50 at the end of 3rd)

And beat the Bobcats with the Knicks (without Melo & Amare for most of the game..hurt & foul trouble),JaValee Mc Gee & Shawne Williams were the unsung heroes in this one!

              Good work man

I've started an Association with the Pistons, and I can vouch for the difficulty level of these sliders. Even after I changed most of the Pistons' ******, I began the season with a 0-2 record, losing to the Nets by 2 and getting blown out by the Thunder.

I hated the game against the Nets. The game went into OT, and VUJACIC made the game winning basket against me. SASHA VUJACIC. What's next, Scalabrine scoring a game winning 3 at the buzzer?

And the game against the Thunder was just pathetic. I didn't even get mad, it was just sad to see my players get destroyed as if they were some random YMCA ballers.

I foresee a long season ahead of me as I try to rebuild and turn around the fate of the Pistons. I love how realistic these sliders are.

                    Awesome Sliders!

Played with The Purist(s) since I got the game and they are very good sliders but passing problems and rebounding problems led me elsewhere.

I didnt feel cheated by any mid range or 3pt shooting even though there is only a 1 point drop in comparison.

Beat the Rockets 90-97 with the Lakers.

Rockets were sub-40% shooting going into the 4th but they turned it on in the final quarter and finished with 43% compared to my 44% only reason I won was rebounding and especially offensive rebounding, again, a 1 point decrease of defensive rebounding and offensive rbounding feels infinately better.

Only probelm is the game speed and free throw difficulty, I dropped the game speed to 46 so it feels a bit more methodical, and I dropped FT difficulty to 30.

My Association started off well and I really enjoyed the first 3 games, but it's been a joke recently, and I'm getting really frustrated. Each one of these 3 games played out the exact same, it's like the game is running on a script. My team will play well in the first two quarters, but will then get destroyed in the second half, no matter what I do. Especially in the 4th quarter, which is when my players become YMCA ballers and completely lose the ability to score, defend and rebound.

I suspect it has something to do with team chemistry, but how am I supposed to increase it if I can never win?! I'm 1-5 already. Do teams go on losing streaks in the NBA? Of course, and I don't mind my losing record, not at all. I like it that I'm able to lose, instead of winning every game. What I do have an issue with is the way the CPU gets its wins. Instead of outsmarting and outcoaching me, it dumbs down my players, buffs up its own, and every game is the exact same story. Suddenly, I can't even draw fouls anymore and Greg Oden misses gimme hooks from right under the basket. It's so predictable that I know exactly when to say "I'm going to lose and there's not a thing I can do about it".

I didn't have this issue at all when I was playing exhibition games, so it seems to be an Association specific issue.

                        ^^^

I'm playing in Season mode with the Heat and I'm seeing the same things. It can definitely be frustrating at times, but I'm just going to keep plugging away at it. I'm 0-3 so far, but every game I recognize weaknesses in my offensive and defensive strategies. Despite the AI buffs on All-Star, I'm enjoying the difficulty (couldn't lose on Pro anymore) and am loving how the games play out with these sliders.

You can't take any trip down the floor lightly with these. The NBA game is a game of runs and toughness. Any team can beat any team on any given night...these sliders capture that reality as best as possible. Run your plays through, pick your spots to run, look for mismatches, and be stout on defense. Put guys in positions on the floor where they don't want the ball...

I would admit that these are probably the best sliders I've developed for any game I've played in all my years of videogaming...

Yeah, I just finished a real nice 114-110 win over the Rockets in my Nuggets (post-Melo trade) Association. Yao and Scola were tough down low, but I used my team speed to score in transition and from beyond the 3-pt. arc.

These sliders are certifiable. I bumped up the CPU shooting sliders one click for each category and they are perfect for me.

I mentioned in another thread that I don't have a current season's roster saved...I'm only playing with classic files.

I don't have to bump any sliders because I have awareness cranked up a bit in my rosters...

I just played a game as the Pacers (me) vs. Charlotte (cpu) from 1992-1993 and won 103-97. I posted a box score in the roster threads. I shot 47% to their 45%. I was losing by 9 in the 2nd and fought hard to get it tied going into the 4th. Pooh Richardson played amazing and had 22 pts. and 15 assts. And Reggie hit some big shots, and Smits scored all of his points in the 2nd half.

This game is very well developed and amazingly fun...

Okay, after shouting at the game and calling my players over a dozen different names, I managed to improve my record to 3-6. I'm now on a 2 game winning streak, coming off from wins against the Blazers and the Clippers. Getting out of that losing steak was -hard-, let's hope I don't dive right back into another one.

I just decided to keep playing, despite my humiliating, ego crushing defeats. These sliders are really addicting, and make me want to keep going and try to win.
