^^ No, you'll have to plug those in manually. AFTER you load your playoff mode, go to your settings and manually input the numbers. See, that's a specific file that has all of your settings specifically saved for that particular file.

If you've downloaded and saved them to your regular settings you won't have to do that again. But for your playoff file, yes, you will need to log those numbers in manually which only takes but a minute or two.

Thanks for the fast reply. I will do that now. I have to do everything I can to ensure my remaining 93 finals to be more challenging and therefore more rewarding. I'm definitely enjoying this season. Thanks mk.

By the way, the numbers in RED in page 1 mean anything special? Like user preference or something?

If you read through this thread (which I would not - LOL!) the RED/BOLD numbers only reflect the change that I made that concurs with the date. So people wouldn't get confused, I only made the red-bold numbers reflect the newest update and put the previous updates in normal type.

Cool Thanks! I just finished inputting everything. I have a feeling my game 2 with this new setup will be a heartbreak.

            Hey MK,

The past few weeks I've grown to be a lot better at 2k11, but not good enough to play on All-Star. Pro was getting really mind-numbing for me so I was stuck in between and getting frustrated. However I took your sliders and switched Real Player % to Shot Stick Timing and rounded off the shooting user sliders to 50 and it plays a sweet game with 11 minutes.

FG% might be a tad higher than normal, but I'm just looking for a good set of stats at the end. It really saved 2k11 for me and I'm starting another association.

            Thanks man!

(I recommend anybody that has my problem above to try what I did.)

I just had a very intense game in game 2 of 93 playoffs.

              Bulls 105 vs Suns 113

When these two teams met in real life back in 93, the real score for game 2 was Bulls 111 vs Suns 108. That's pretty damn close.

I only had a lead once in 2nd quarter but I think I will get better as I get use to this slider. I can't believe how well this slider works with your roster files. (meaning the this slider brings out the best for players in your roster!)

It was a tough loss because I made two turn overs in the last 2 minutes. I basically chocked on CPU's pressure. LOL. Like I said it was very intense.

This was a good loss and it was the most satisfying game I ever played.

Is there a home court advantage in this game? for playoffs?

I love this slider set when I'm playing quick games but when I play assoc it was not the same by far. My question is do I need to edit more things once I'm in associaton mode with settings or maybe my roster. I do know they reset your rotation but what else?

Sorry...I've never played association mode so I wouldn't be any help.

What is it that you're finding so different?

I've played a ton of ASSOC with this set and the only thing that has ever felt different to me is the increased intensity in the playoffs. The other thing that can have an effect is if you have Team Chemistry ON....losing streaks, happiness of individual players, etc can all have a real effect on how your team performs/feels when you play games.

Association mode definitely feels different if you have Team Chemistry on. If it's too low, games start closely resembling a bricklayers' convention.

Hey mk I am using KG's roster with your slider set and noticed that players who dunk in real life like rondo are unable to with sliders>attributes>Dunking Ability at 40. It isn't until 44 that those players are able to. So my question for you now is where is the sweet spot for dunking ability if at 44 you start seeing them?

BTW I think the lowest rating for a dunker is 45

Adjust the dunk rating to fit your needs. I did NOT create these sliders with one set of rosters in mind, so if you see something that needs tweaked, please feel free to do so. Hopefully other guys who are using KG's rosters will be helped by your finding as well... Thanks for sharing!

I played a fun game last night. Busted out my 85-86 rosters and played a game... Warriors (cpu) at Celtics (me). I won 124-110. It was a fun, old-school game just like in the mid-80's. Bird paced the way with 26 pts. But I had EIGHT players in double figures. Terry Teagle (30 pts) and Purvis Short (26 pts) were killing me, but my defense clamped down (11 blocks) and I pulled away early in the 4th, actually putting up a 24 point lead at one point. They cut it down to 9 with about 5 minutes to play, but I hit some big shots and got some stops.

I shot 53% and they shot 51%...both very realistic. Will say it again: with all the classic rosters and having put a ton of time into working on sliders, I LOVE this game!!!

I found 46-47 work well. I have been thinking about turning the tendencies to 0 in hopes it will provide more individual play style realism. Does it work that way even? lol

                            thanks much

I plan to test that tendency theory, as well. This game is SO good!

I just defeated the Mavs 98 - 73 with the Blazers, thanks to spectacularly bad basketball on their part and good execution on mine, on both ends of the court.

I smothered Nowitzki with Aldridge and Peja was injured early in the game, so they were all out of offensive options. Well, they did have Haywood, who made 7 shots out of 9 attempts, but Nowitzki decided he would just hog the ball and chuck it up all game long, making only 12 out of 32 FGA in the end. In the meanwhile, my Blazers finished the game with a FG percentage of 52%, and 7/18 from three. Their total FG% was of 39%.

They even grabbed 11 offensive rebounds in contrast to only 3 grabbed by my team, and scored 14 second chance points, but still lost by 25. Geez, now that's basketbawful.
