Anyone else getting the computer to FOUL way more than you? I actually just played in a game where they had 24 fouls and I had 12, which is low compared to the usual 36 to 16-18, but I went to the line 40 times to their 10...and I play pretty aggressive...Comment

I decided to try this out myself, since I didn't get a response, although I did make some minor alterations (made the sliders a little more balanced in some of the ones where the disparity was really enormous, and also took some suggestions from this thread about foul sliders).
The first game I played was with the 2000 Blazers (me) against the 01 Sixers (CPU). It was an enjoyable game, and I saw a lot of positives, but I pulled away in the second half by a lot. Iverson spent most of the game chucking up mid-range shots, but that didn't both me as much because that's what he does and that team had no options. I decided to play another game, this time as a bad team with one star player from the wing against a good team with multiple options.
I chose the 2001 Raptors and played against the 98 Spurs. This game was really disappointing. I should have had a really difficult time in this game, but I was in it the whole time, primarily because the Spurs were not playing a smart game offensively. Rather than feeding the ball into Robinson and/or Duncan all game long, with the generous matchups against undersized Antonio Davis and ancient Charles Oakley, and the likes of Keon Clark and Jerome "junkyard dog" Williams, the Spurs spent the bulk of the game with Avery Johnson taking mid-range jump shots. Obviously, he went something like 5-18 from the field. Ridiculous amount of shot attempts. Robinson didn't get a small number of attempts (though less than he should have), but few of them were from the post. Many were off of offensive rebounds, and others were jumpers from mid-range. Duncan barely touched the ball at all.
Now, since I'm using Nog's roster, on his coach profile for that team, they are at 90 for "look for post players." So I'm thinking that the mid-range shot tendency for the CPU in the sliders has got to be too high.
Has anyone seen similar issues? There are a lot of other positives about these sliders. I think they really open the game offensively for the player without making it feel like the CPU just isn't defending, but this is ridiculous with Avery Johnson taking 20 mid-range jumpers.Last edited by wade_03; 12-31-2011, 10:25 PM.Comment

Hey man, thanks for your sliders and your rosters. I was just about to take this game back, and I had already tried your sliders with Rashidi's rosters (which I normally use), and didn't like what I got. I tried your rosters, and am really liking what I see through one game played on Pro. I'll probably up it to all-star next and see what happens. I played the Hornets (me) vs. the Kings, and the Kings played like themselves. Lots of iso with Tyreke, occasionally tossing it in to Demarcus Cousins. The CPU made mistakes, and I could actually get into the lane. My only problem so far is I shot 39%, whereas the CPU shot 31% lol, with me shooting 11/22 from 3pt land, so that's why I blew them out. I'll see what happens next, thanks again.Miami Heat: Miami Thrice. The Big Trio. The Stepping Stone to Championships. Supporter since 2004

This set brings out the best animations but it's stupid easy. I put CPU awareness up to 90 and 85. Clutch at 15 and consistency to 20. I don't know what it is I even played on HOF.
I'll post stats of a Couple games tomorrow.5Comment

Love these sliders . Just had a game & between both teams the total amount of fouls added to 60 . I was wondering if I can lower that total by adding baskets but not really killing fouls . If this is possible I appreciate the help.Comment
