i play with shot stick timing...

right now ive noticed i need to lower mid range and close shot ratings....i cant give you an exact number yet because i am still trying to get it to where i have a realistic fg%

start with 2 points each and go from there....

thats my input anyway and i have been playing with these sliders since the patch and have been getting great games!

I started an association with these and enjoying them! I did move my minutes around from 10 to 9 but still getting good scores on Pro.

How many minutes are folks playing on? How long are games lasting?

Tried these out, and I generally like them. Only thing that's bothering me is the amount of fouls the CPU is getting compared to me.

At halftime, the Raptors have shot 22 FT's compared to my 4. I'm driving, getting contact and not getting any calls while the Rap are getting everything. Could just be the game itself and not your sliders

I am having the same problem myself, this could be due to the patch as it increased the fouls. I have had lots of playing time as i am on vacation from college. These are great sliders maybe the best on the forum maybe a bit more advantage to the user as i dominate the cpu but its competitive games so no complain there. Cant wait for the v3 rosters and post patch v2 of these sliders

Hey Paul, do you care if I post these sliders onto 2kshare on the Playstation version? These are the only sliders that I have really enjoyed and have gotten realistic results with, so I thought that it would be nice to have them on the PS3 2kshare. I would, of course, put ur name in the description for credit.

these were the first sliders i really got into and i've had some really great games. the only problems i have are little things which is another proof of how good these are IMO. the first thing is the 100 hum 0 cpu vertical rating, this gives me an extreme advantage in the tip-off and even getting smaller players getting rebounds over big guys. ive been playing around with this based on other slider editors settings and anywhere from the 40/40 to 60/60 range seems to be even in terms of rebounds/blocks/tip offs so maybe check that out.

the next thing is also pretty small, i turned up the attack the basket tendency for the cpu about 5-8 points and it seemed to give teams with a good big man the ball more and teams with a stronger perimeter didn't over feed their bigs.

there was one more thing that i can't remember for the life of me but ill edit this when i remember but as i said all minor little tweaks that i made, which might not even be better for everyone overall but they fit my play style/skill. so yea just some feedback thanks for the hard work

I toned down the Shooting Foul slider to somewhere around 80 (I don't remember the exact number) and the Reach-In foul down to 90.

I'll have to double-check my Shooting Foul slider, but whatever I have it set at is PERFECT. I had it at 91 for the first half of my game, and the CPU shot 18 free-throws to my 8. I toned it down, and they ended the game having shot 26 or 28 free throws, which means they had about 10 in the second half. I could actually contest shots now without getting a foul called on me every single time.

As for getting more calls your way, perhaps you could turn up the contest shots AI Tendency slider?

Slider Set is great, have run a few test games so far with a tweaked version of your 11/20 Roster (updated trades and a few real rookie models), going to run a few more before I start tweaking it to my personal kinks. One question for you though, what is your Defense Assist Slider set at?

I decided to try this out myself, since I didn't get a response, although I did make some minor alterations (made the sliders a little more balanced in some of the ones where the disparity was really enormous, and also took some suggestions from this thread about foul sliders).

The first game I played was with the 2000 Blazers (me) against the 01 Sixers (CPU). It was an enjoyable game, and I saw a lot of positives, but I pulled away in the second half by a lot. Iverson spent most of the game chucking up mid-range shots, but that didn't both me as much because that's what he does and that team had no options. I decided to play another game, this time as a bad team with one star player from the wing against a good team with multiple options.

I chose the 2001 Raptors and played against the 98 Spurs. This game was really disappointing. I should have had a really difficult time in this game, but I was in it the whole time, primarily because the Spurs were not playing a smart game offensively. Rather than feeding the ball into Robinson and/or Duncan all game long, with the generous matchups against undersized Antonio Davis and ancient Charles Oakley, and the likes of Keon Clark and Jerome "junkyard dog" Williams, the Spurs spent the bulk of the game with Avery Johnson taking mid-range jump shots. Obviously, he went something like 5-18 from the field. Ridiculous amount of shot attempts. Robinson didn't get a small number of attempts (though less than he should have), but few of them were from the post. Many were off of offensive rebounds, and others were jumpers from mid-range. Duncan barely touched the ball at all.

Now, since I'm using Nog's roster, on his coach profile for that team, they are at 90 for "look for post players." So I'm thinking that the mid-range shot tendency for the CPU in the sliders has got to be too high.

Has anyone seen similar issues? There are a lot of other positives about these sliders. I think they really open the game offensively for the player without making it feel like the CPU just isn't defending, but this is ridiculous with Avery Johnson taking 20 mid-range jumpers.

well, im back at it with 2k12.. got rid of it, but since the season starting i used amazon credits to get it back lol.

so, my main issue with the game is the fact that having to play 11 to 12 minute quarters to get some realistic stats. then i read that the game speed could effect scores, being higher or lower depending on what speed you use. i never thought of that before.

hmmm.. so, if i bump the speed say to 60, i could possibly drop the quarters down to 8 mins? the speed dont bother me as my buds play for fun and they use 75 speed lol.. that drives me nuts, so 60 wont be all that bad..

so, anybody else do this? or no? just curious..

great rosters/sliders, etc.. kudos to all involved!!
