Redlogic's 2K13 HOF Post Patch Slider Set (SST)

Superstar edit now posted below along with HOF sliders. I put priority over game play rather than stats, however I think right now they produce good results in both of those categories.

As usual, these sliders will change as more people chime in on feedback (hopefully constructive) so keep an eye out for updates. I made these using BedwardsRoy's current roster set (v3). I don't know how they work with Default, however I started working on this set on default rosters so they may work well. Time will tell.

I tried not to make extreme changes to each slider, but small ones when combined output a realistic game. Any extreme changes (like foul settings) were done because they are so off on default.

I'm sure I missed some things so please feel free to ask!

**New version is now up for Superstar. I personally enjoy the game much more on this difficulty setting, which is tough for me to admit considering I have always played 2k (since Dreamcast days) on HOF. This year however, HOF just doesn't seem right. It's uncontrollable in ways sliders can't help so I decided to play on Superstar and I've gotten much better results so far. Less frustration, more enjoyable game play. Check it out, hope everyone enjoys and as always I'll await all positive and negative feedback the same.

I have some adjustments to make...namely lowering quickness for human and cpu.

Good to see we're thinking along the same lines....I lowered both speed & quickness to 37/31 for user/cpu so far. I also play with a different game & player speed as well (55/38 right now).

Haven't gotten to play a full game yet but I really like what I saw in my short time with them. They're tough but not cheesy. Good job as always Red.

When you go to the match up screen in association, click triangle. Then adjust player speed. Also, for quickness (human/cpu) should be changed to 40/35.

Been using these with a couple of adjustments made by my own preferences in my association.

I started off playing on superstar with these and was having a very solid experience. And then i upped it to HOF...

the CPU is just unbelievable when it comes to rebounding and forcing their way to the basket. Im not sure what to do. ESPECIALLY in the 4th quarter, its ridiculous how the CPU can overpower my defender all the way to the basket and manage to get off a shot without contact.

Ill come back later tonight with a more detailed post

These are my main beefs w/HOF this year. The cpu definitely vacuums up rebounds at an alarming rate and the drives to the cup make me feel powerless on D.

A lot of the probs may be with how high Red has some of his sliders (HOF gets a 10 pt boost in some attributes on default).

@Dice - Even with these issues, do you feel the game plays better on HOF rather than SS?

Hof is out of control this year there is no doubt. I've adjusted the shooting sliders for human up and also defensive sliders up for human as well. I got much better results. Even I have thought about toning it down to Superstar.

I'd been toying around w/Superstar simulation in the hopes of creating a slider set & just playing with those numbers I felt the game was way more balanced.

I played Knicks (me)/Heat and I saw missed open jumpers & even some missed (contested) layups. Rebounding was also no problem at all. Now there are still tweaks to be made but I like Superstar much better than HOF.
