It would ABSOLUTEL become a trader's market. I see people offering 4k bb on bid already as it is. That's no profit for the sale, and people are THIRSTY for that tiny amount of credits.

On bid, people would just wait everything out, and snipe. Just like they already do. This game needs minimums, and, unfortunately if there's gonna be an AH going forward (personally wish there wasn't...) CD is gonna need to cut down on card drops if they want it to function right.

Too many thirst buckets playing this game, selling their stuff out for pennies. There's no way to legislate that out. They have to control supply. Only way.

Haven't posted on OS in over a year. Ah I remember the first few pages of this thread, and now it's grown to this. Wanted to chip in on this AH economy.

They should make it like FIFA UT, where there was no min bid, so the AH could actually set itself, instead of CD deciding the prices and then us using BB.
They should make all packs a low price, but they could be like an enhancement pack. So eg, if you were to buy an MVP pack for 300 credits, you have a small chance of getting an MVP card. That way packs would be more fun, and you could earn a huge profit by getting an MVP card on your first try of 300 credits, or it could take 6500 credits to finally pack 1. That way packing a good card will be exciting.
Just my 2 cents. This year's AH and economy is bs, but it's better than nothing.

Resets already take a ridiculously long time though ... so reducing card drops that way seems like a good way to alienate people.

I have to think that the most top end cards are given out via seasons, yeah?

I don't mean card drops, just as in drafts. I mean RttC is too easy/generous. RC is too generous. Cards are given out too freely for a game with an Auction House.

The way to eliminate sniping would be to add like an extra minute to minute and 30 seconds after a bid is placed like in Madden

Again... The problem with this game is that the player base is cheap, desperate and impatient. That's it.

People don't wanna pay for anything in this game, so no amount of tweaks will result in a fair pricing model on the AH. The only way to FORCE prices up is to restrict supply. That's it.

Still a bit sore about not getting the full RttC done. I was literally bedridden nearly the entire time ... just shows how insane the time required for that many points is.

I've gone through 2 RTTCs and over 1200 quick games. WHERE IS MY PLAYOFF RESET??

Buybacks are needed, BECAUSE the first dude decided to offer one.

Now that everyone knows that there are thirsty *** players willing to give buybacks, it's not worth it to buy at full price anymore... which means you can't list at full price, because the buyers don't exist.

The problem is that players were EVER willing to take so little for their goods. CD already taking 30%, and you guys are giving back MORE?!? The fact that people are willing to do that, is what destroys the market.

It's honestly not CD's fault. It's you guys' fault. People are too desperate for credits (just not so desperate that they'll spend actual money), and they screw themselves over to get them.
