Only the incumbent team (In this case the Jazz) could do a sign and trade with Evans.

Looks as though is a deal for the veterans minimum salary which means Dallas can wait to sign him until after all of their other deals as minimum salary deals can be signed even if the team is over the cap.

Yeah I spend a bit of time learning how the cap works lol...

Got 8 cards done. Was fairly close on the 9th. If I hadn't lost 6 hours today to inability to stay awake I'd have finished it all. It's just kind of very grindy. Even if you can do a game every 3 minutes and you can do all +14s, the 420 point cards take an hour and a half ... and it's hard to keep that pace for any number of reasons.

When this years game started up I was shocked there was no Catalog collection like in Madden. would say nba 2k but theirs isn't dynamic and don't eliminate cards from the game, only cause a faster "dip" making cards useless faster.
imagine if we had to collect 50-100+ cards from all tiers to get that POTG Jordan? That couldn't be auctionable or Make it auctionable only leading to a better reward card later in the game.
Sure over time the demand would drop but we wouldn't see a horrid player economy after a Month of a new Tier.
Create the demand when the supply is there & the market would be a more interesting place.

ITA. CD needs to make card collections matter and make players want to keep their cards. Now because of the length of RTTC, I only have a need for my best 10 cards to use in seasons (not grinding all the way through RTTC anymore). The rest have no use to me, thus very little value as well.

To most free players, any credit amount above zero is better than a card in your deck with no use.

In my opinion the main problem with why the AH went so badly is the lack of ways to earn credits. We can either pay for credits or win a season (which only one out of 10 or so people can accomplish each time) or get lucky through the AH. But because of the 30% tax once the credits that go into the AH starts to run dry option 3 is eliminated which leaves buy credits or win seasons. Now if season credits were a bit higher I think that the AH wouldn't be as bad. But it is kinda ridiculous that you can be the second best team in a PO season and lose in the finals and only get 300 credits. To put that in perspective you can't even buy an UR (which is 4 tiers below PO)!! That just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm not saying that you need to earn enough to buy a PO, but in order to get enough credits to Bid on a PO you have to win 5 PO seasons!! That's over 20 days to be able to bid on 1 card!!! Yet CD says there are plenty of ways to earn free credits. This may have been true at the start of AH but now that the supply of credits has gone down due to tax and Great pack purchases, there needs to be more ways to earn credits. And the fact that they use the daily bonus to justify this is a joke.

I'm just hoping the quick sell option doesn't rip people off too much next year. That and maybe credit drops from the draft board could really help. Even if the drops are minuscule, like 30 here and 20 there they could really help if they occurred as often as boosts. Idk, but that's just my two cents about the AH and the economy.

I'll be looking for a trained Heinsohn as I made a deal prior to the RttC to trade the 3 Lakers cards for the first 3 Celtics and then buy the last two Celtics ... and since I fell short due to medication sleep, I've gotta get an extra one.

Also, I'm not sure if anyone else is an auto racing fan, but the end of the Daytona race a few minutes ago was heart stopping. The 3 car went airborn up into the catch fence and disintegrated ... the motor ended up in the infield and the car just looked like there was no way the driver could have survived (it was 200 mph to zero in an instant). He walked away.

Had flashbacks to the 2001 race when Dale died. I was there that day and met him and got a nice jacket autographed. Took me a long time to be able to turn a race on again after that.

Incredible how much safety has improved since then. There's no way someone would have walked away from what I just watched 15 years ago.

Sorry for the off topic. It was just ... probably the worst looking wreck I've seen in decades of watching stock car racing.

I've always said that I think those are bots like you see in seasons and not real people. Why only play that few games if you spend that kind of money. It doesn't make sense.

I think it might be a bot too now that u speak of it. Especially if one of the card is improperly pro-ed. From RttC, CD likes to create bots who uses cards which are improperly pro-ed.

... Or I could be totally wrong and the person's simply a noob but also a very rich person. Thus the improperly pro－ed card.

yea it's the improperly pro'd cards that make me think they are bots since that's how they look in RTTC

I briefly read the last 2 pages of comments, and I generally agree with what everyone says. I think my situation is more fortunate as a free player, because of this forum, and because of this single comment made by NWGameDad in this forum:

1. (Something along the line of) "actually AH makes me get to a higher tier because I can get cards easier and sell cards"
2. (By NWGD) "Data shows that SR and UR sells the best".

The first comment completely changed my perspective on AH, as I had zero experience using AH because I was over-concerned using my credits for anything but packs (as I was trying to save those minimal amount of credits for packs -- not sure what I was thinking at that time). With the comment from NWGD, I was able to make credits bit by bit -- that is when Syd starting to sell Star for cheap/buybacks. So I was able to get enough to do what I need to do.

We just need to be able to use our credits wisely, and make them consistently (hopefully more ways beyond AH).

Yea, all I want are ways to make credits without having to depend on having someone else wanting to buy your card out of all the other same cards that are posted. If that happened I would be totally ok. Even if season credits for the winner were 1/3 of what is required to buy a card of that tier I would be happy.
