I've been running a QG LU of 5 epics for about 200 games now after I finally got an epic C card (Bynum) and could throw out a LU with an epic playing their natural position. So I have Jennings/Kobe/Leonard/Ibaka/Bynum that I play with and I haven't lost a game yet, at least 200 games in. By the time you get to 4th-5th card in my opponents deck, they have trash.

Curious how successful a +5 rival lineup this will be. Anyone try something like this?

I think it will be , im just positioning myself at 350 by end of night everyday , did that for spurs rival at didn't even have to play on Sunday , took 1,400 pts a day which I just played casually during day and 1 hour before bed, no hot streaks either, got 118th last event and will never do that again , unless it's somebody that's gonna be top 5 card in game, which after 10-15 rival events Ewing won't be

Nobody has had 5 rival cards with the exception of Twista, but he combined his Timmy and Jordan. This is only the 4th event, so we'll see sooner or later won't we?

only been 3 rivals clashes this being the 4th coming up and only person who can run 5 rival LU is Twista who has dupe of Timmy & Jordan

I see. What I meant was how my LU, which doesn't have any rival epics, would play in 5 point games during rival events given the success I've had using it in QG's.

Just qg someone whose record was 9-3 and had 4 legendaries and two of the legendaries were leveled up to 10 & 8. Meanwhile I'm at 10100-2120 with only 2 legendaries from rivals... The frustration lol

You wouldn't stand a chance 5 point games are tough if you play with all your best cards, unless you're twista of course. I had my best 5 cards in and had trouble in 5 point games, people told me to run the 2 common lu and I had a lot better luck

The LU you run factors in to the strength (deck value) of the teams you face, even in 5 point rival games. I can run a lineup of 3 legendarys and 2 epic pro cards and I get my face smashed in almost every 5 point rival game or QG. The LU I had most success with in last rival 5 point games was using rare (pro) cards in their natural position (D.Rivers/Waiters/Ariza/A.C Smith/J.Hickson). It's the LU I was using for most of my QG's as well and would lose with it probably 1:15. Still haven't lost with my epic card/natural position LU in a QC

The lat two rivals I've run a LU of 98 MJ, Lebron Legend V1, Epic Pro Rondo or 91 MJ/98 MJ/Lebron with two commons and had a ton of success. I did at the end of the last rivals put Rondo back in because I was seeing so many Oscar Robertson cards. This one I am going to go with all 3 Jordan's with two commons.

I tried that. I would use the common cards at 1-3, and use Olajuwon/Lowry (epic-pro)/D.Robinson Rival, and still not have as much success as using 5 rare(pro) LU. Maybe the new Rodman-pro rival will make a difference since his stats are better than D.Robinsons
