I would like to know how someone expects this update to improve upon their deck without spending money, besides the RC events. The drop rate increase? CD has not elaborated on the actual % increase. I guarantee it was minute, as in you won't see much of a difference. They just did it so they could say they increased it. Pretending they are trying to make it easier for everyone.

He just having an issue understanding that 2 elite tiers added = all decks being pushed 2 tiers back. Kind of a simple fact

Bro I'm talking about good compared to my current deck. I don't need 700+ stats across the board. So far I have 2 legends 8 epics and dozens of rare pro's. So yeah I have a great chance now of upping my deck with a slim chance at some great cards. The three percent of you don't see it that way but the majority of players are stuck with rare pros and a select few Legends from RC. So this update made it to where everyone can upgrade not just the ones that have rival cards.

You are correct that many 2000-3000 level decks (rare pro range with the odd higher) will improve to 3000-4000 level but at the same time, those who were spending money will improve even faster because every pack that used to Epic+ is now legendary+ meaning your Epic Pros now will be the same as Rare Pros before in the sense that yes its better than single Epic but its not better than Epic Pro. I.e. instead of facing 4000+ trucks, you'll just face 5000+ trucks with your 3000+ decks.

Drafted 2 epics in less than 500 picks, could just be coincidental luck or the odds are generously increased.

I honestly hope it wasn't coincidence. I'd like to be proven wrong. But since I've been let down so many times I'm very cynical.

Why are you trying to be condescending? Do you not see the Irony in most of the comments on here. If you don't wanna debate that's cool and I'm not here to make people mad. I just feel people are being closed mined about this whole thing. So I'm trying to have a debate with my perspective and if you don't like it or see it the same way then debate. Dont try and put somebody down because they have a different view then you that's just childish

If I make it in the 3rd round of the playoffs I just instantly upgraded my deck. Now I can get a Leg pro for making top 650 in RC. How do you not understand that not everyone has leg pros and rival cards already.

Not everyone posting is mad... if you look through my posts today, i have been objective but i just find it funny that most who like this patch or praising it for making it more competitive aren't looking at the big picture and how advertised advantages are actually not disadvantages unless you plan on spending a decent amount of money now.

Free players can get better cards = true but guess what, they face even better cards and likely harder to get (like i said, before you can get legendary pro from RC, now you can only get single playoff cards... there's no chance of getting #1 without spending money, there is a chance of getting top 25). Also only top 25 get top tier cards now but before, it was top 250 (legendary was top tier)... again a huge difference for those who are looking for the "best" cards.

Unless everyone suddenly stops spending after today, the actual results of the patch probably will surface in the near future and those who were praising it would probably be the same complaining. The real benefits of the patch is 120 card slot vs 100 but even that isn't working for android users (works fine for iOS). Otherwise, this patch is either same or worst for majority except for CD, those who just want to collect cards, and those who want to spend money now (but those who spend money now will likely be the biggest complainers if there is another tier or a clean slate...).

In one week I will (personally speaking) upgrade probably a third of my deck just from RC, seasons, and maybe a select few good draft picks (cause I plan to get in 1000+ games in Rc) I'm looking at it from a different standpoint. Believe it or not I'm guessing 85% of the people who play this are in the same position or worse than me.

What?

Can free players no longer play RC?
Are the NEW RC cards not the most powerful ?
Do you not get matched against a similar deck in 5pt games anyway, so even if you have uncommons you wont be facing the new legendary playoff cards?
Can I not buy a gaurenteed Legendary now for the same price as the old 1 in 6 gamble?
Do I not now have a better chance of drafting a Legendary/Epic in QG's?

The only thing this will effect will be seasons and more 5000+ decks, which should make more trucks who can be put in a season together. So the only thing that is a problem is season matchmaking. They fix that and then it doesnt matter your deck strength you will be matched with others in the same tier.

Trust me i believe you... last week i went from 2500 to now 3000-3500 all because of RC. Legendary RW + RC KD without any epic luck (i pulled 7 epics during RC, 2 of them were support, 2 of them were players i had BUT NOT THE SAME CARD >.>, and rest were single thats 7 epics in 7000 wins so i was somewhat lucky with draws but not far above average). So yeah its easily possible and so far i won 3 seasons, finished second in other 3, and got to the second round in my last 2.

You'll gain on those that play less than you and don't spend money but you won't gain any ground on spenders... instead the gap will only increase.

I don't need to read one of your other posts about anything. You asked me a simple question and I answered it. You asked me how I expect to upgrade my deck and I answered it. Looking at a different post about relativity is not gonna change my answer to your question.

Except my question isn't that simple... it was how you plan to improve your deck RELATIVE to others (namely those buying legendary packs). I guess all you care about is your own deck then you'll come back a few weeks from now and complain about how trucks are now 8000+ rating when your deck is only in the 3000s.

Maybe you should think about the relativity of your opponents decks.
No matter what tier cards you use, the servers put you against a player relative to your own deck. Therefore if people get better cards they play better decks.
So while you may feel that getting a Legendary will be worthless as everyone will have one, someone without one will be getting an upgrade, its all relative. Yes they have devalued the Legendary and Epic tiers but added a new Tier to compensate, so now everyone has a new level to aspire to , relative to their old level.

You don't see the difference in people wanting Dirk's stats increased by 30 or 40 points here and there... and CD creating a whole new class of cards, that rendered the last class (that was created just two months ago...) obsolete?

People wanted Dirk to get a modest bump, not for Bill Walton to outclass Michael Jordan, by a huge margin, creating an entire new class of cards (to go along with ANOTHER new class of cards).

The obscene amount of time that went into grinding for those cards... just for them to say "sorry.. those cards are just kinda alright now", a couple of weeks later..

KD just generated record scores, to get his RC card. Would ANYONE have grinded so hard to get him, if they knew the new Bill Walton card was gonna stomp on him? Or if the NEW KD PLAYOFFS card was gonna come out a week later, and stomp on the newly old KD Rivals card?

I don't see how anybody can defend this.
