At some point, what are we going to use accumulated RP for?

I mean, the best packs are credit-only, and once you have a full lineup, you don't really need RP anymore.

I actually rather enjoyed the playing field before the RS cards came out, but now it's become pay to win since you can only get an RS card by winning a season or buying packs.

There's a very rich person in my season who has dropped a ton on RS packs, so that rules me out as winning. Welp, no point in paying attention these next 4 days outside of just getting into the second round.

I hope that CD have made changes to the way Leg seasons are matchmade, because I don't want to be continuously lumped in with people who spend big.

Star card will "restart" the game and RP will be useful again. Also spending your RP for HS in order to reach top 100/1000 in RCcould be an idea.

You're right, star tier will reset the game and RP will be useful again. But I mean it's use is still limited; Wild Cards and buying regular star cards. It won't really help once you get to 15+ since the best cards are paywalled.

I hope that season matchmaking in all future tiers is nuanced enough to discriminate between the pack-havers and the pack-not-havers, since there will no doubt be special pack star cards.

RC is another good way to spend RP, but I personally won't grind for top 100 no matter the rewards. My fingers (and patience) can't take it :P

I don't understand why CD didn't make it so we have to build up to the point where our Leg tier bar fully maxes out instead of automatically maxing out when we reach Leg seasons.

Yep I agree these packs have pretty much killed seasons unless you want to spend a stupid amount on the game.

Star Tier will have a comparable "Record Setter" pack. Maybe PnP again or something.

You're absolutely right -- dividing credits and RP has put in a very visible frosted glass ceiling for free players with the introduction of RS packs, and whatever the star tier equivalent will be.

If they improved season matchmaking, then fine I can accept that. If I continually get put into seasons with players who drop $200 like it ain't no thang, well looks like I'll never get an RS card.

On the old app CD before AH goes online who won star season just got 3 cards for the first place and after a. While the drop down to 1card.... I'm pretty sure they won't give out so easily star card and also star card should be the maximum until playoff tier will be released... So I. Think CD will yes release star tier in January but make it available just for first place on star season... And probably RS card for second place

I always have a small amount of accumulated RP because I'm an Extras Pack Chumpion. I can't resist and I often get sucked in to buying 10's of thousands of RP worth when I just keep missing. So I don't really have that issue lol. So I guess Extra Packs? Or perhaps just the satisfaction that you have a big bank of RP built up for the future...

Oh, and most importantly for me (I don't grind for RC cards) would definitely be Hot Streaks for the RttC. I got through the first and third one Hot Streaking and playing consistently. Also, I gained much more than the RP I spent on Hot Streaks with ultras, epics, and Legends that I would have otherwise not grinded out for if I wasn't playing RttC... and the profits went directly to Abilities cards, Spec Upgrades, Level Ups, and energies... also known as Extra Packs. I heard you used to be able to get Wild Cards through those packs... but that... well that was a long time ago lol

In this game free players should be smart. I'm stock many and many RO. I will have RC + RTTC cards, which is still better. So I buy needed amount s of stars from AH for any price and will win every season at start. Plus with star++ I will sell every star card for big amount of RP and my RP back to me)

Yes, but like you said, now with RP / Credits, it's much harder for a free player to do that.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't expect a free player to be able to get everything. I'm not one of "those guys" -- I'm perfectly happy not having a beast-mode deck.

I just hope I don't always get matchmade into seasons with people who do drop that kind of money, because I at least want a chance to win a top tier card.

Since I got into Leg tier, I've only won 3 seasons. It's already been difficult with a level playing field and the amount of variance you get in quarter point totals / matchups. But now it's become impossible to win if matchmaking stays the same.

Has anybody experimented with not running a full 15 leg pro lineup and seeing if opponents change?

With a full 15 leg pros (all RTTC and RC cards too) I have run into people with as many as 4 epic pros, and even one guy who had 3 epic pros and 2 URs + a bunch of MVPs.

Yeap. They don't need free players. It's hard..but we can try) Our chance is expensive convert system. It's give active free players great opportunity to take best cards from RC and RTTC. Plus every new pack stands more and more expensive and at top tier not so many guys who is ready to spend so many cash..
