Maybe choose "difficulty options" for seasons? Have a button before you start a season that gives you Rookie, Veteran, and Superstar options that would match users who choose accordingly AND THEN run the matchmaking (total team stat points? average of top 10 cards?) algorithm. And most importantly, prizes will also be "weighted" according to tier and difficulty (1st rd, qtrs, semis, 2nd & 1st).
With several thousand players at different deck levels, at least this option would curb players' expectations at some level. This is only really coming about because more users are being matched in seasons than ever before. Rare to see "mostly bot" seasons now that AH and events are expediting growth for users. Finally, seasons is the only "event mode" that allows users to face each other with their decks (other than QG of course), so it needs to be fun yet challenging and rewarding at same time. (RC is a grind for points marathon, while RttC is deck strength vs. time+set boss decks.)

Yeap. They don't need free players. It's hard..but we can try) Our chance is expensive convert system. It's give active free players great opportunity to take best cards from RC and RTTC. Plus every new pack stands more and more expensive and at top tier not so many guys who is ready to spend so many cash..
This is a game but 600€ is really Bestial.
The difference is to me when you want to have this cards, Now or in a few weeks.

In few starting seasons you can be the only human (maybe 2-3 max) if you have power team. You collect season reward+RC and RTTC stars. It helps you beat many and many rich guys..Comment

ah, the good ol' days when credits and RP were one. if the current credit/RP separation of today was used back then, it'd be impossible to get POTG pros as a free player without finishing rttc AND placing top 25(?) in rc.Comment

They give us opportunity to take best card from packs - season reward. It's good, really good. The worst thing at this game is Skybox. RC and RTTC cards with 4 spec without any grinding for unreal amounts of RP..Comment

(F) - Foil with 2-specs (so people will spend credits on extra Enhancements = $$$)
Also, bot levels would also have "minimum deck strength" (and increased to average users' deck strength) so that users are forced to play their strongest cards according to difficulty. So Rookie is "Tier", Veteran "Tier+" and Superstar "Tier++". And you won't be able to advance to higher difficulty unless deck strength requirement is met.
Those who want a "head start" at each tier can spend the $$ on packs/HS/game nights and grind events accordingly. It's just like in real life (for better or worse)... going to expensive college can get you a head start on earning potential in adulthood... but EVERYONE needs to grind & hustle at some point to make your dreams and goals come true... unless you're happy with what you have now...

Star seasons won't be any better. It seems 90% of players are in Leg tier now and by the time star tier drops, about 99% of those players will qualify for Star seasons immediately.
Ty is right. If you want success in Star tier, get 10-15 reg star pros early. That way it might take 2-3 weeks for the masses to catch up to you.Comment
