    Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion

Lol if you think the "bad CS" angle isn't just a last minute change in tact. He wasnt really arguing for the "good of all players". He's a child crying using any argument he can recruit. Any moral victory he thinks he has over CD is pyrrhic at best.

Everybody can agree that CD needs better support but taking him at his word over that point is apologetic. He screwed a legit player out of a reward card. He waived his right to be taken at his word. He only "cares" about the quality of CS because he has no other leg to stand on.

This isn't the first time cheating had been openly discussed on the other site without consequence either. Nevermind a pat on the back.

Wow what a smart post this cheater made he turned him getting caught into a case against customer service what an insightful community! I'll also ignore the fact that he's a cheater in a game I play!

      Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion

Sometimes I feel like when you port these things over to a real-world situation, the arguments lose all merit:

I go to Disney World and pay a lot of money on drinks, popcorn, and stuffed toys. Then I repeatedly cut the line at all attractions before finally getting caught and kicked out. When I try to talk to a manger he just tells me I broke the rules and that I'm not allowed in anymore.

      1. First I say, but I spent thousands of dollars on all your confectionery and toys! But when that argument doesn't work:
      2. Then I say, I'm a paying customer, I deserve better responses! I deserve better treatment!

In any real-world situation, when you break the rules, you aren't entitled to anything more than an explanation for why you have been [insert punishment]. In this case, he was given that explanation. His only "beef" with CS is that they didn't respond to his further emails when he begged to have his account unbanned. Like... it's case closed, you know? In this case it was unequivocal.

What I'm even more curious about is why nobody else on the site even talked about him openly admitting to cheating. Was it like an open secret? Is nobody allowed to call him out? What's going on? Why has cheating been openly discussed before? Why are people okay with it? Aren't there legit top 100 / top 25 people on that forum (hint: there are) who care that someone else has admitted to trying to screw them out of their legit reward?

No matter which way you slice it, it's not a good look for a supposedly "better" and "more mature" community.

A while back there was a member here who drew a tie for 1000th place and unfortunately was die-rolled out of the top 1000. If it weren't for that cheater, a legit player who put in the work would have gotten his card.

To be perfectly frank, we didn't need a cheater to tell us that CD's customer support really sucks. We have plenty of legit users wrongfully banned who can testify to that.

I have ZERO sympathy for cheaters. I read his post and laughed at the argument he used. Leniency for a first time offense and all that other crap. He saw (and knew) that other people had been banned and he continued to use it. To use CD's lack of a response to his banning as grounds to post a lengthy gripe against them is ridiculous. He even admitted to cheating in his feedback to them. That's open and shut. They don't owe him a response. Paying player or not.

The real life examples are so true. Just because you paid for something it doesn't mean you then have the right to ruin everyone else's experience.

Its more like "disney kicks you out and forces you to vomit everything you consumed in their park". CD kicks people for 'reasons' so they lose every value they invested in the game. In your example you can keep what you paid for

That really wasn't the point though. The point is just because you paid for something it's doesn't mean you can do whatever you like at the expense of others.

Exactly my point. His customer service BS is just him grasping at straws. He doesn't deserve a response. He says he "expects better customer service".. Well CD expected for him to play by the rules. Us honest players expect a level playing field during events. He gave up any expectations when he decided cheat.. F him and all of the other loser botters..

You don't 'own' the cards. They exist within the app. If it isn't already clear, the app functions as a service. The cards have no value outside of the app. The cards are not usable outside of the app.

                        However, to address your point:

Change my example to spending thousands of dollars on an all-you-can-eat-and-drink year-long ticket which you can redeem only in the park. The point doesn't change. Once you actually get yourself banned from the park, the ticket loses all value, and you can't bemoan the dearth of good customer service. You're not entitled to it anymore past the perfunctory obligation.

I pay for my drivers license and my car. But if I drive 150 miles per hour in a school zone they take both. When you buy a card or something else from CD it doesn't become your property. There's nothing to physically own. Its just a graphic on their app. And they're technically not taking anything from him anyways. Besides his ability to use their app on their servers.. Those are things that CD actually own.

Anyone have any good tips for season play? I didn't play last year, but in 2014 I was in the finals fairly regularly. This season I've not made it past the Quarterfinals once and it has me saddened. My current lineup:

I was planning on waiting to level Rudy until starting the season.
