I'm starting to feel the fundamental flaw of this game more and more. Most of my play is in QG, and I can't run with my 5 best cards there. I get trounced even throwing out a bunch of legend pros with an epic pro. Maybe win 50% of the time.

The solution is to bench my strongest lineup to throw in some super lower tier cards while maintaining Leg++. Gamers will always find the way to the path of least resistance, but I just don't like that there is a disincentive to play your best stuff in quick game.

Not only does it feel counter intuitive, but I just don't feel that interested in rolling out my "best" lineup that happens to have 2 garbage cards getting carried by the rest. It's more of gaming the game than playing.

Then again, this is a game of tap tap tap. Not exactly the most skill involved.

Maybe time to take another break? Or just lay low until star tier. I'm already getting demolished in season (again) and won't have time to properly grind RC (again). What to do.

i find that because the next tier hasn't been announced yet..and we all know when it is, all the leg you grinded for in RC/RTTC will likely be useless anyways..

so i find in the meantime the best way to still play but not be burnt out...is just try to finish your daily goals and save up the RP...maybe open up an extra's pack here and there to luck on the wildcards and save them

or try to complete catalogs (for the collector types)...if you aim for smaller goals and just manage the time..it wont feel so draining

My top 5 cards (in position) works unless I run up against a charged lineup (which unfortunately is more and more prevalent). I could pro RTTC Bron but I feel like that would be a waste at the moment. I'm willing to wait a week or 2 to see if a new tier is going to be announced first.

I feel that for the first few weeks running leg pros in QG will still be better then trained star cards. So proing lebron isn't such a bad idea.

My top 5 cards (in position) works unless I run up against a charged lineup (which unfortunately is more and more prevalent). I could pro RTTC Bron but I feel like that would be a waste at the moment. I'm willing to wait a week or 2 to see if a new tier is going to be announced first.

That's what I did last RC and it worked great for me. Never thought to use it during QG. Mainly because I actually want to play with my best cards but I guess I'll just do that so I can keep up with everyone else.

Yeah its ridiculous that the system is so flawed that using your best cards is actually a terrible strategy lol

I only use my best lineup when I go for the 50 game domination goal (which I reroll till I get everyday...easily the easiest top goal to get for the RP)

And I run into unbeatable charged lineups every 2-3 games

The problem is that going with your best 3 and then 2 terrible ones is much more viable. If you go with your best 5 you run into unbeatable charged lineups way too often. With 3/2 you will win 95% of your games

For the record my best lineup consists of RTTC Wade/LeBron/Curry each with at least 2 leg enhancements and foil RC blake with 3 leg enhancements, and a RS Dwight at center. I only run the 3 RTTC cards with two untrained epics and I went 98-2 in 100 quick game. Went 73-27 with my best lineup

I seriously hope they change somethings when the star update comes out.. This game has lost so much of its appeal. Season's were one of the most enjoyable aspects of last years app. Now this year its one of the worst parts. There's no way that the best cards should be given away so easily during RttC. Not too mention that in my opinion the RC card should be more powerful that the RttC card. They've made all other Legendaries useless. I don't even look forward to getting a reset anymore. Thousands and thousands of people have near identical decks. Before even joining a season I can predict the lineup of almost every top player.. RttC Curry, RttC LeBron, RC Jordan, RttC Jordan, X-mas Paul, X-mas Duncan, and so on.. It's almost the same as playing quick games during the early parts of last years app and running into UR Finals Diaw, Duncan, and Parker.
GameDad really needs to read some of these posts and take into consideration some of the things we're saying.. This years game had SO much potential with the new features they added. I give them tons of props for Team play, individual RP goals, and wild cards. I also loved the fact that they made it so only cards you draft can be auctioned. I actually suggested that last year to avoid the issue of the AH market dying from being flooded with page upon page of every card in the catalog.
There's still hope to save this years game. We're still only in Legendary tier and there's a lot of game left to be played. If only they tweak a few things. There has to be a compromise where they can make the game enjoyable and profitable at the same time..

Even if decks in seasons were diverse there is still no point. To possibly get a underwhelming RS card that you can only pro with wildcards? Or a useless MVP/Reg leg? So then why do I want to play RC or RTTC? What incentive do I have at all to improve my deck when there is almost nothing to play for. I can beat RTTC with 15charged normal legs...don't even need event cards. I can get top 1k RC with a UR tier LU. What incentive is CD giving us to continue playing and improving?
