So i have to ask here, is anyone running a successful +5 LU in Star tier. I have max pro star Lillard, 2 mike conley star singles, and 2 leg pros as my best cards. Any help?

I am with you on that, personally I have played more than 10k games myself, but I just hope its fair all around, because people will have so many star cards from buying cheap from the AH too

If they roll back the server to a previous restore point, all sales made will be rolled back, too. It seems the cleanest way to do it, then extend RC by x hours.

What about all the pulls, sales on AH, trained away cards, and so on?

It's a data restore point, moving a hard drive to a previous point in time. All "never happens"

Wouldn't this still effect the people who actually payed real money during it? How would they gg it back

Appreciate it bro! What I'm asking is, are the people who pulled anything, bought anything off the AH, or trained anything away just SOL? Meaning all that goes away too?

Well, you pay money for credits only, otherwise a number in a database.

The restore point presumably just gives you back your creds to whatever number it was before restore point.

As for people who paid money during the period, then you're right, I dunno, they'll have to mass refund everyone.

@Gundamduo - I'm guessing if they restore, yes, those people are SOL.

I mean, I can't think of a better way to do it unless they have the ability to identify all cards "bought" for 0 credits during that time and simply delete them all.

But then that screws over everybody who sold all their star pros.

One thing is for sure, I don't want to be in CDs shoes right about now. I do know if they don't fix it, I'll probably stop playing.

Your SOL in the sense that you lose the little bit you'd have gained in the day but considering some people gained 100x that in a half hour limit it's more than worth the inconvenience.

I feel you on that last part, something must be done. Whether you abused it or not ya know?

any decision CD makes is gonna be criticize regardless....there isn't a lot they can do other than a rollback as stated...considering how poor the UI is in this game and features that seem like common sense (sell all, sorting, previous and next page tabs at the top and bottom of a list, etc.) i doubt they'd have the ability to simply locate all users who had access to the "free" packs and simply delete them

There is another flash sale, so maybe they won't rollback?

Something needs to be done but banning people would be absurd.

Presumably they have a call home on every pack purchase to make sure nothing gets maliciously injected into the "code" during a purchase (think the way PC 2k users could hack VC purchase code to get free upgrades etc.).

In light of that, I'm willing they have a database of all purchases made, and cards distributed, since the beginning of this game. So I think they can identify all a,b,c cards sold during x,y,z timeframe, to which accounts, etc.

Whether or not they can automate deleting those cards, I have no idea. Perhaps they can replace them retroactively with commons or something.

But going this route basically screws over everybody who has unloaded their star pros which I don't see as particularly fair, even *if* they knew they were exploiting a glitch (of course they knew).

Edit: Just wanted to add that CD have clearly shown a determined willingness to protect their bottom line, and so I don't think a shoddy UI is any bit informative as to how they structure their back-end, especially when it comes to real-money purchases.
