I don't think there is much they can do. A server reset would wipe out almost a days worth of RC grinding, season games, season rewards, legit pack purchases, daily goals, and tier resets.

It sucks, but i doubt they can just undo the free pack purchases. Even if they do, what about cards that were trained away to level the AS cards...I just don t think it is possible

I had 4 AS pro before the glitch. Many people won seasons and bought packs before the glitch.

right so what i'm saying is, if you wanted to prevent being bunched in a season with people who glitched and have like 4 or more AS pro's (even entire lineup full)..you would be able to put your 4 and the rest are regular star or w/e (HOF, RS) and still be in a legit season with people who didn't exploit the glitch

It's pretty clear where the sides fall on this one. If you got to glitch your cards, you don't want it reset (generally). If you didn't, you want it reset.

Unfortunately, I fall into the second category and I have no interest in continuing playing if they don't find a way to even the playing field.

Maybe that makes my motives suspect, who knows, but as it stands, once this RC is over, I'm stepping away if they don't make a change, and I assume many others will, too.

It is entirely possible but when you see things like this, it has to eat at you a bit with all the work and/or money you've put in.

I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this, but I think people are overreacting about this glitch. All this game is is a mobile phone game that we enjoy playing. No one is forcing us to spend money on this game. If you've spent thousands of dollars on packs in this game, that was your decision. No one forced you to grind hours and hours on RC and RTTC for a virtual card that will be worthless a few months from now. In a few months, playoff tier will be out and a few months after that, MyNBA 2k17 will be out. My point is, people are way overreacting about this glitch and are taking this game too seriously.

I barely spend on this game so if I walk away from the game, it's just ending my gameplay of this year's version a few months early.

With that said, for CD, the entire point of the game is to cater to paying users and create more paying users. Free to play players are just there to make the game more entertaining for paying users and hopefully be converted into paying users themselves. It would be incredibly stupid of them to not address a glitch that punished paying users the most. As I said before, it's not whether they should correct the glitch. That's a no brainer.

I have over 10,000 games played. When I lose in QGs to someone with 13 games played and no money spent there is no way around the fact that the game is broken and needs to be fixed

So yesterday I got no all star cards but right now I think I'm lucky because I just snipped a Lillard Star for 9k and a Westbrook Star for 16k

How would people feel if they just made the coming RTTC all All Star cards from start to finish?

Would that be a way to tackle this problem (while introducing new problems)?

people who managed to get 15-20 pros will get even better, people who didn't won't (its much tougher to win seasons)

only "positive" here is people are dumping regular stars like crazy in ah and all you need are regular stars for rttc anyway.

I just remembered RS and rookie stars are better than all star. I'm guessing some paying players might buy rs/rookie stars to beat all the all stars.

A season lineup is only 15 cards, and only what, 12 cards are pulled per game?

Assuming they just put regular AS cards from 1~9, why do pack openers get better? They already have full AS lineups, these cards do little for them.

This is true. Only an RS card becomes an improvement.

VERY few people will do that. Do you see the pack prices for cards that aren't guaranteed? Most paying players will leave if they keep it like this.

I DID get some Star cards from the glitch and I want CD to take them back. I found this game fun because of the grind to build a strong deck, finish RttC legit, etc. Now all of that is gone.

This might be good for players who have been on the fence about quitting this game. It might be the final straw for them. There are far better games to play out there. Maybe it's time to move on to something better.
