Exactly if they want it to be fair then everything should be reversed, not just the people who got AS cards

There's nothing they can do where nobody is upset. Some people will just have to take losses to restore any kind of fairness and balance this game has left. A complete 100% rollback is out of the question since they dragged it out this far.

2 days of play for the health of a game people have played and will continue to play for months is nothing.

You're completely missing the point of this.

I understand the point, what I'm saying is that almost everyone got something out of it, some more than others of course.

How much money do you think CD lost out on? They'll just write that off too then I guess.

"Cheap Stars" is NOTHING compared to free AS Stars and Star Pros. 30k is a bit lenient with pricing but let's just go with that to exemplify.

30k for a star, 90k for a Star Pro. The most RP you can get in a day is 20k (let's just say the RP from the small goal cancels out the RP needed to re-roll to get the 20k goal.) and it takes 200 games in a row to complete. That means it'll take 4 or 5 (depending on how much RP you start with) 24-hour intervals minimum to get enough to make one Star Pro that is weaker than a card given out for free. This is also assuming that you don't mess up and a lose a game. 200 games in a day takes 2~ hours approximately if you grind it. Being generous again, lets say it takes 4 days to make a Star Pro all from RP. Some people got 5+ Star Pros from the glitch, and you're telling me 20 days to get the same amount of Star Pros that are weaker than the free cards is somehow "benefitting"?

Obviously the math is very flawed and general with a ton of other variables but you get the idea.

Right but only some of those things are causing a big issue (the game to be unbalanced) and that is how many All Star Cards out there now.

Guess I'm not too sure where this is going? Not addressing the situation would be writing it off, a rollback would be addressing the situation. Again, yes the rollback would suck for "lost progress". I've pulled 2-3 stars resets, 1-2 wild cards, got Kawhi RC and have made probably 150-200k RP in the the last two days alone. Would it suck to lose that all? Sure. Do I know losing all that now and resetting the game to back to where it was will help in the long run? Certainly.

Where I was going with that is that not just players will feel alienated by giving out strong cards for free. CD lives off making money off those packs and I'm sure their revenue took a hit. On the player side, it alienates the people who didn't get any cards for free but also the people who grind this game each day. I got a Star reset, I got Kawhi, I've made some RP and I'm not saying they should take back ALL progress up to tomorrow, just some that gives some power back to players that work hard. It sucks knowing that I spent real money and time to get Foil Allen, only for him to be outclassed by the flood of AI, Wade, etc Stars a week later.

Which is why a reset back to the last saved state before the glitch would be great.

Sadly, it would be unlikely due to the personal progress of many unrelated to the glitch.

Its possible there is a way to just get rid of 90% of the star cards that were given out during that time. Let all of them keep 1 and delete all the rest. That way you keep your progress just not your AS cards/WCs/Contracts that you wasted on them.

Ugh. I am hoping some savvy people are making the decision on this at CD. A reset back to the last saved? As of now that would be the absolute worst thing they could do. I would rather them do nothing now. I grinded top 500 and got 3 resets. You think I'm gonna grind that again? Plus this was pre-RC. What about RC rewards? Season rewards? Purchased packs? Unless they have an extremely intelligent restore process, that won't work.

I think they could save the final leaderboard of the RC, do the reset and then give everyone the right prize they earned in RC

What if you bought extra packs and received WC to pro said Kawhi during the weekend? You would lose that and let faith decide again if you get the WC on the extra packs.
