I wouldn't mind seeing them tweak it to make it a little more reasonable to get Epic's and Legendary's. I don't mean super easy but easier than it is now. I feel bad for some of you all that have played a lot more games than I have and haven't gotten a legendary or hardly any epics. I was lucky and got a couple epics last week and I might stroke out if I drafted a legendary player. lol

I did get lucky last week and get a second Rare Avery Johnson and Jason Kidd. I've maxed out and combined both so I should have a good one there. Johnson should be a good one as well according to the spreadsheet and I have a Doc Rivers that if I can get a second would work out good. Magic Johnson is my main PG though.

I think it'd be doubtful that they would update player stats? That would kinda ruin people's strategy, but who knows. Would be interesting if they did.

I just want them to make it easier to get epics and legendaries so it's at least feasible to get a full deck of every card after playing a few months vs. a few years.

I doubt they would want everyone to have every card within a few months, then why would anyone continue to play? Or what's the fun in facing everyone else who has the same deck as you?

I don't think legendaries and epics should be easier to get. The draft method is fine, the only current problem is that epic packs prices should be higher. $20 for a 1/4 chance of getting a legendary is too easy in my opinion, which is why we're seeing so many legendary lineups lately. I still think legendaries should be removed from epic packs completely, or atleast the drop rate for them from packs should be much lower.

Making it even easier to get legendaries would only further destroy the game, and people would just quit out of boredom and not enjoy facing everyone else who has the exact same lineups. And from a business standpoint, it only makes sense for them not to give away the best content easily.

While it's true that they don't want people to stop playing within a few months, they need to be realistic as well. How long does the current gameplay (season + quick games) support gameplay? A few weeks? People are getting pretty bored already without more updates, so having people play more than a few months is a little bit too much to ask.

If they remove legendaries from epic packs, a lot fewer people would buy epic packs because they're really going for the legendaries. Plus, you can't really put the cat back in the bag now that so many people have legendaries. They'd have a huge advantage over others who need to grind for weeks and weeks to get legendaries.

Fair enough, I guess I'm just a hopeful enthusiast that they add a ton more content down the line and make it a long-term mobile game. There's just a lot of potential to expand this game, it'd be a shame to see it be wasted because there are other card games that are constantly being developed and have large mobile user bases (Shadow Era is an example, I think they've been going strong for over 2 years now).

I don't really play any games, but this one was just way too much fun when it came out, so I genuinely hope it does have a long term future.

As I said before I got my legendary from buying the $20 pack. I don't think I'll ever actually draft one so getting one this way at least gives me a decent chance in quick games and in seasons.

I agree with your opinions that it must be not easy to get some great cards.
I think as well there is a lot of potential in that game but i am afraid that when 2k15 will come out it will be the end of that application.
Pity as there is a lot they can do to make that game amazing and i am sure they have the money to improve it after 3 weeks of epic packs.

My only concern is how the situation will be in june/july.
Players with 100k+ picks or even more and 5 legendary ( if they are lucky) against players with stats as we saw in some post over 6000 in each categories.

I don't mind not winning seasons and i like when a game is long to finish but
there are 50 legendary cards including support ones.
So 80 if we make the players cards pro and 10 supports.
How long will it take to get 80 legendary cards at this rate? 5 years!!!

By the way just picked my 775 energy cards...

Hmm.. is there any way they could just keep expanding this game rather than come out with a new version every year? Because there would be no purpose to get good decks if it'd just reset every year lol

Maybe step 1 is to take out the 2k14 part of the name :x

Would be cool if NW could weigh in on the game's long term plans.

Yeah, once 2k15 is out, they'll make an entirely new app where people need to start all over. I don't know if they'll shut this down, but updates will be very unlikely.

I agree though. Many more game modes and constant updates would be great. I don't know if that's going to happen.

I just got my second drafted epic at 1325 wins (and 379 losses).

Just too bad it was at the same position as the other epic I've drafted and three of my four rare pros.

I completely disagree with you. I don't think legendaries should be incredibly easy to get, but the way the game is right now, lots of people have poured 100 hours into just clicking through quick games and don't even have a pro epic.

So you have people playing an NBA game for well over 100 hours where their best cards are Ricky Rubio and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

IMO legendaries shouldn't be easy to come by, but they also shouldn't be this ridiculous. There is a middle ground that needs to be explored.

Those guys that payed heaps and heaps of money better hope the game transfers onto a 2k15 version or they gon feel reaaaaal stupid, I'd like it to have a transfer thing because I feel a lot of us have spent so much time grinding and grinding just to have to restart day 1 when the mynba2k app for 2k15 is released

Honestly I don't think the big money-spenders would care as much; if they've paid once, they're likely to do it again.

However the majority that spent a ton of hours grinding and grinding are going to be far more disappointed if our progress doesn't transfer; no one is going to want to farm epic/legendary cards all over again from scratch if you already did once.

I think it will be the problem of that game. And even if they do transfer of account, will we want to spend thousands of hours just for few epics and maybe no legendary as it can happen that some of us will have 0 legendary when the next appli will come out..
