I haven't been bothered by the LB issues but then again I haven't fought for a super high spot where it makes a big difference. I will say that if the rewards were tier-based it would completely eliminate that problem. I wasn't in favor of the tier idea at first but I've changed my opinion on that and I think it would be a good thing.

I think that's mainly due to the fact that the last few haven't been major rivals like the first few.

True. But I mean at least make them look like the cards we should all want. You know what I'm saying? I understand that Jordan>Kobe>Duncan>Ewing>dirk in real life, but the difference between Kobe and Timmy is HUGE, which in real life, Kobe and Duncan should be close. Also, how can the rivals cards be worse than epic pros? That is just bs. I think they really need to make the rivals clash cards better, at least better than the epic pros.

If u open the google doc of all the card stats. Sort by position Pf and exclude pro legends and pro rival. What is dirks rank. Nwgd stated its 3rd bestvlegend but is there 3 or 5 epic pro that are higher equal then dirk? Im gonna sleep but some1 look it up

Yeah it goes Super Rodman, Duncan RC, pro Larry Johnson, pro Griffin, pro Josh Smith, then Dirk RC.

So 5th or 6th best (depending on whether you include super Rodman).

I think it affects anyone who is on the cusp of a certain tier , like 8-12 , 45-55 , 115-130 , etc. then it becomes extremely frustrating , I seen 1930-2020 all separated by 6 pts , the difference between expecting a dirk pro and a single dirk is extreme

I think the reason why we are complaining is because Dirk's stats are significantly worse than the next Rivals card (Ewing). It is really deflating for those who have worked their asses off to get at least 125th, just to get a card that is 130 points lower than its next lowest counterpart. All other Rivals cards are within the same region stats-wise (except for Jordan, but he is the GOAT so no complaints there).

To emphasize how low Dirk's stats are in comparison to all other Rivals cards, I will point out that Dirk has 3 stats in the 300s, while all other Rivals cards only have 1 stat in the 300s combined (Ewing's BC)!!!

I was camping this weekend with the Boy Scouts, so I wasn't following the boards or the race to the end of the event. Sorry, but I'm not online 24x7. Not a conspiracy just life. With that said, I scanned back a few pages and wanted to address a few things.


1. Dirk's stats - I'm not sure why people are complaining about his stats. I just checked them again this morning against the other cards and the Pro version is the #2 Power Forward behind RC Tim Duncan. The non-Pro version is #2 behind non-Pro Tim Duncan. There are a few Epic Pro cards that end with better stats, but that is true of some Epic Pros vs. Legendary cards. I did not lie about it, the non-Pro RC cards are better than Legendary and not as good as Legendary Pro cards. It's just a fact that some Epic Pros are better than Legendary cards. That is true within any of the Rarity tiers.


2. Catalogs going missing - Check out my post in the bug section. We're doing a couple things to address it.


3. Leaderboards being behind - Friday we posted a fix which was working to keep the leaderboard within a few minutes. Apparently Sunday (again I wasn't around so didn't see it myself) it got behind again. I'll talk with the network engineer to see what happened and how we can fix it in the future. I know looking at the data this morning we had the highest number of players ever for a RC event. The writes to the server at the end may have just been huge. It is something that affected everyone though. Regardless if it was running in realtime or not there is always going to just be 1 person in each rank. The best thing to do is to get a comfortable lead in the tier you're trying to stay in.


The last thing I will say, is I don't appreciate people calling me a "liar" and personally attacking me. I come here to engage with the community and to help make the game better. If giving out information is just going to result in personal attacks, then I will not bother any more. It's just counter productive and detracts from the fun of the game.

First off I hope you had a good weekend camping and thank you for taking the time to respond to the community it's nice to get direct feedback from the developer.

I have faith in your engineers that the leader boards will get fixed in time hopefully sooner rather than later.

One thing that I will gripe about is you mentioned the RC cards are a tad better than legendary cards with that being said I truly do feel that no epic pro should be better than a RC card. Think about it there is only 125 lucky people per event to own these rare cards that can't be drafted or purchased so they should be done justice by at least being better than an epic pro and the pro versions of the RC cards should be beat all pro legendary cards its not like it throws the balance of the game off at all only one person per event gets the pro version.

So if you would from here on out, think about making sure the RC cards are what they're truly intended to be and that's "special"

Secondly, how do we know what a comfortable lead is if we don't even know how many points the guy below us has???
Third, Dirk's rival stats are NOT OK. Do some research about Dirk's career stats before saying that, don't just look at the 2k ratings. Rival cards are about the player's best year. There's a reason Dirk got an MVP. His mental game is a joke. His ball control needs to be 30 higher. His defense, since rebounding counts in defense, needs to go up by 30. You're saying Dirk is the 3rd best power forward in the game, you forgot the epic pros. You said to us that Rival cards are better than legendary, we'll this Dirk isn't. You lied to us. There is no one in there right mind that would say Josh Smith is better than Dirk irl. Epic pros are like the same rank as legendary, so you're telling me that these cards are supposed to be better than Rivals Dirk, when you said to us that Rival cards are better than legendary. This has been very frustrating. Last time I talked about Kobe's offense, you just flat out ignored me. I asked 2 times on here and private messages you. Don't give me that "Kobe is the best sg so we won't add Kobe's offense"
There's a reason kobe is known for one of the best scorer a ever, and he's top 5 in total points for a reason. Once again, I really think both these players stats need to be changed. Do some research about the players before you make their stats please.

Wow Sagg, chill man. I agree with you on all points except the rage part. Dirk is a beast, and While CD makes valid points, I think they should really consider the difficulty and the time commitment it takes to get a dirk rivals card vs say an epic pro willis reed last rc.
The fact that it is not upgradable should at least make nw reconsider the half step up status of the rc vs legends. It should just be a full step up considering the rarity. If cd wont change this, then i personally think its would be unwise for anyone to target rc's during clash events. I could easily get a legend in a 2-3 day grind and an epic pro in even less time

To get an epic pro I just need to do 2 hours per day, I could've just done that instead of spending 6-8 hours per day.
