      MyTeam Mobile Discussion

I think what CD have to do is that they need to do duplicate RCs. For example, Heat and Celtics. Both of them lost, so the rivals bird and lebron don't exist. They can also bring back the teams that won, I.e. Bulls vs Knicks, so that people will actually be able to get pro rivals.

But it wouldn't be fair for Twista since he's already got all the pro rivals

Exactly. 2 hours a day for a card that could possibly be better than the overall of the RC.
Personally, im not as hardcore as you on this game, I've not spent a single dollar on this game either. (Ive owned a 2k game since the dreamcast days though). That said, consider the following:
An epic pro cannot be further upgraded... An rc cannot be upgraded
An epic pro may or may not have better stats than rc. Either way it would just be close.
An epic pro is achieved with minimal effort. An rc is cut throat til the last hour, especially with the lb delay. Nice hangin on the 125 btw. That was close.
Really the thing that we are slaving for is the novelty of the clash cards. If your handle is not twista and you dont get the top pro rc, eventually legend pros abd even epic pros will just render our rc cards obsolete.

Any of you guys experiment and crack the most optimal 3 Uncommons and 2 Commons lineup by any chance? I figure anyone who owns an Epic or L "Hot Streak" or "Technical Foul" should at least try this lineup once, considering the powerful effect it can have on the low numbers we're working with using the unsexy 3 UC pro lineup. lol

If we wanted to increase sales in that way, why bother giving you a leaderboard at all? We could just post it daily and sit back, evil laugh and count our money. Don't let emotions color what is going on. The leaderboard updates as fast as it can, but with so many people playing it is simply a technical issue to have the servers write it out that quickly. Every week we've been getting more and more players so the engineer comes up with another way to do the writes to speed it up. There is no magic here, just some hard software development.

Again, I don't understand why you don't play your Dirk. He is the 3rd highest PF (I didn't realize before Rodman was slightly better than him). We're not changing his stats, he is just fine in comparison to other Power Forwards and other Rivals cards.
As pointed out, Twista has the Pro Duncan Rivals, and two Rodmans (1 fully super rodman and 1 was either half or a completely nerfed one). Those all by your admission are better than Pro Dirk Rivals.

The leaderboard is certainly an issue that people I feel have rightly deserve to complain about it. We didn't have *any* issues in the first 3 rivals with the leaderboard (we did apparently crash the server/stressed it in the last 2 hours or so of the Jordan RC but otherwise it was fine). You say there is more activity but I'm not sure I can believe that. Bulls Heat was 5.2 million vs 3.6 million wins, this one was 5.8 vs 2.9. That feels about equal to me (it's actually a bit less). Spurs vs Rockets was 5 million vs 3.2 million and basically didn't have a hitch. Knicks vs Pacers was 3.8 million wins vs 3.6 million (lowest win total by a good margin). There was a bunch of maintenance issues which would cause the total to be lower but I can't imagine this total being *more* than any of the other events, and was the first introduction of the leaderboard issue. So I'm not sure I can 100% buy your explanation of more activity since by the win count there was not. Unless it is because of other things you introduced since then (VC and console integration, removing back button, etc).

I think possibly biggest issue some people feel is while maybe you aren't lying to us you like using things people would label as half-truths or changing your meaning later on. Examples, your first explanation of deck rating for seasons was "it uses your entire collection". Later when I asked for clarification, you stated it was "your top 15 cards". While I appreciate your clarification, your first statement led to at least some people misinterpreting and getting rid of cards they didn't need to supposedly.

Another example is your statement that the Rival Card is "between a legendary and legendary pro" in strength, with the caveat that they can't be pro-ed in general (this was back during the first RC event with Kobe where there was no rival pro card at all), which is obviously a large factor. This would imply that rival cads should be clearly better than just about *all* legendary cards, not just for their position. You now are stating that Dirk is a top 3 among legends/rivals *power forwards* (not factoring in epic pros who are about equal to legends), but this puts him well below many other legends and epic pros at other positions. We were never told they would be between a legend and legend pro for their position, and if that is the case I think you can make the case that the position among legends is too weak rating wise.

There is a gap between the top of the legends (Lebron Mid Year, total 1730ish, we'll ignore super rodman) and the bottom of legendary pros (We'll ignore Yao Ming and Mullen as aberrations and use Alonzo, who is around ~2100). I would expect from your statements that Rival cards should fit in this range and up to this point this was roughly true, but Dirk is definitely a far level below. I'd propose that Rival cards should be made in a range where their total is between 1700 (allowing a few top tier legends to exceed the worst rivals) and 2100.

I'm also curious how stats are figured. Dirk at level 0 his rival has 276 offense I believe which was 1 higher than jordan, but he wound up with 475 offense vs 481 for jordan. What happened there? We know that card stats are based on console stats in some aggregation, and Dirk doesn't grade that well in the console version this year, but I guess I should ask, what is the Rivals card supposed to represent? I always thought it was supposed to be their absolute peak as a player + some rival card boost over legendary, while normal legendary cards are stamped by a year.

There is certainly a fair amount of frustration among people, and I'm sure some of it came aimed at you, and that will generally happen when you choose to enter into a public space, ie twitter, reddit, any forums. I can only suggest to ignore as you best you can since when things don't go right there is obviously going to be frustration, bitter feelings, etc, but it *is* because people care, and there is some legitimate complaints and feedback in there.
