Dirk won that championship for Dallas by catching fire and playing the best BBall of his career at the right time. Tyson Chandler won DPOY that year and if anything elevated his game because of Dirks influence. And Tyson has been forgettable both before( Hornets/Bulls ) and after ( Knicks ) playing with Dirk. And Dirk Never Left the Mavs

Pau Gasol elevated from a good player to great because of Kobe challenging him everyday in practice. Memphis never got anywhere with him as their centrepiece so they traded him. And they got Marc Gasol and 2 first round picks, it worked out OK for Memphis. Kobe won 3 rings without Pau, Pau has won 0 without Kobe. Kobe never left Lakers.

Robinson got lucky when they drafted Tim Duncan. But he endured losing seasons and never left the Spurs.

The 80s/90s Lakers, Celtics, Bulls all have a common theme as well, their franchise players Bird, Magic, MJ never left for other teams to get their rings, they developed a locker room culture that nurtured good players to become great and FA players came to them.

Shaq is an exeption. His Ego got in the way everywhere he went. He left ORL because he was jealous of Penny, LAL jealous of Kobe, MIA jealous of D Wade.

To summarise Kobe, Dirk, Tim Duncan, David Robinson, MJ, Bird, Magic and even ya boy D Wade, all the players you used in your argument have one thing in common, they won their rings without running to someone elses team to get them.
First off I love dwade he played 4 yrs of college he single handedly beat the mavs in the finals off the court he fought dearly to get full custody of his kids which he got during his nasty divorce. Wade is a good guy.

However shaq is my favorite player of all time not sure where you got dwade.

Nowadays, loyalty doesn't mean anything, paul pierce played for the celts for his entire career still got traded, no one says anything about shaq even though he played for like 6 different teams, even Kareem played for two different teams. There is nothing wrong with playing for different teams, that's what the nba is all about

What All-Stars were on the Bulls when MJ was drafted? Scottie became an all star because of the culture of the bulls that MJ and Phil created. That's what LeBron was supposed to do for the Cavs but couldn't. He had Larry Hughes, Eric Snow, Mo Williams, Big Z or 3 time DPOY Big Ben. Anyone of them could've been a Scottie, or Worthy, or Kenny Smith or Mario Ellie.
The Celtics were bad before Bird got there, he transformed a collection of players into a team.
There was no Showtime before Magic, he made guys like Cooper, Worthy and Rambis household names and All Stars. And Jabbar was on his 20th season by then. And Jabbar did play for 2 teams, and he delivered championships to both.
And Dirk endured losing seasons in Dallas and won the championship. Kidd failed in NJ and then bounced around in free agency and then rode Dirks coat tails one. Tyson was average before Dallas, DPOY in Dallas with Dirk, and has been average ever since.
My point is Legends make average players All Stars. LeBron failed at that so went and teamed up with some ready made All Stars.

It's a fact that everyone you listed only played for one team. So you're basically saying that all those guys are great because they didn't leave, and lebron left Cleveland so that he sucks. But remember one thing, lebron became a leader after he went to the heat, it is not like he joined someone else team, before he joined, d wade was the no 1 guy on the team, but after he joined, lebron didn't take a backseat, he immediately became the no 1 guy. It's not like pippen joined Jordan and Jordan still the no 1 guy

Apologise I read the wrong signature. I just wanna say I respect your right to like the Heat. I just don't. Im just an oldie that remembers the days when All Stars fought their whole careers to win a championship for their team or retired without one.

Yea LeBron became such a great leader for the Heat because he has D Wade, Bosh, Ray Allen, Bibby, Miller, Haslem, Lewis. All Veterans and a couple of established hall of famers.

Im saying the other guys are great because they faced adversity and triumphed, they didn't face adversity decide this is to hard and take the easy way by joining a just add water championship team.

YES.... That's exactly what I am saying. And you can watch the Larry Legend, Magic Always Showtime, And Bulls Learning to Fly DVDs to hear from the players own mouths the impact those 3 had on them and their games.

You must realize that per each season, only 1 goes home happy, 31 go home pissed.

First, it's 30 teams a season.. Just wanted to throw that out. Secondly, that argument isn't rational. Aside from the rivals clash cards that are only winnable through the rivals events, the best cards in the game is a finite number. Making legends and epics easier to obtain doesn't make the rich richer, it levels the playing field for everyone because everyone will then have a hand in the cookie jar, instead of just those who have already spent a ridiculously absurd amount on this little card game.

If CD were to lower prices it would greatly benefit the rest of us who haven't spent a dime while it would nullify all the expensive efforts of those who have invested a great deal. The new money spent wouldn't be wasted because everyone will have an MJ or LeBron. It's not like the people who have already spent waaayyyyy too much money on this app will get "super legends" or something.

By the way, whoever said make the season rewards be credits, that's a great idea. I wonder why they haven't done that already

                          No worries.

The NBA just isn't like the 80's and 90's anymore.
