Nah, he just doing what he wants to do. I would have loved to see LBJ carry the Cavaliers before he went to Miami though. Man, because of him, I still remember players like Eric Snow, Larry Hughes, Big Z, Donyell Marshall, Varejao, Sasha what's-his-face, and Daniel Gibson. Coward or not, he's still the best show in the NBA.

He's gone from King to coward. His legacy, imo, is ruined. He left his home team, the team that took him 1st overall, to go play with superstars to win a championship. Now Cleveland actually has a team, he goes back and everyone thinks he's a savior, he's just chasing rings. He knew if he never got out of the situation of the Cavs a couple of years ago, Gilbert wouldn't have brought in talent to replace him. He would've never won a ring, and his legacy would be ruined by all the critics saying "oh but he never won a championship", therefore he wouldn't be considered the best of all-time, which he really wants to be.

Scared of not succeeding therefore looking for all the help he can get. But don't blame him, blame the other guys who always want to join his team.

Do you think if they 3 peated he would've gone back home? No he would stayed there for the rest of his career. The only reason why hes going back is because he got his royal *** whooped in the finals and he knows Dwade's knees aren't going to hold on much longer and he sees that Cleveland is now in a good position so he left. He wrote a letter which was TOTAL bullsh1t saying he knows hes not going to win now and hes ready for the future but they end up getting Klove and now they are a superteam

So his legacy would have been better if he had stayed with the Cavs instead of the Heat for 4 years? Yes, I would have loved to see him carry the Cavs before they got 3 out of the 4 1st round picks (bullshyat). Maybe his legacy is a bit tarnished, but all the drama is going to be forgotten in time, and his legacy will be forever cemented if he wins a NBA title for Ohio.

Those superstars were also his close friends. I'd like to work/play with my friends too.

What kind of superstar leaves his hometown team to win a ring and comeback? That's disrespectful, you don't do that man.

True, I hate superteams/collusion, all that. Look at it like it's his job opportunity. Some of us would stay loyal to our current jobs in lieu of better pay/better whatever, and some of us would take that other job. At least he's trying to win. What's that old saying? If You Ain't Cheatin', You Ain't Tryin'.

Also I think it will be cool when 2k15 comes out because all the guys like me who never knew how to get the RC cards and all the guys that messed up cards and all that stuff players like me who were really good at the end of the game can (and will be) better in 2k15 so overall i think 2k15 will be cool

I don't know... maybe it is better to not come back then. Fans hated him when he left. Four years later, they are embracing him like the prodigal son.

Question... can a superstar leave the team that drafted him to go to his hometown team? Like KD to DC or Blake Griffin to OKC for example.

So it's okay to go to a better team to win titles if you can't do so with your current team? Guess it's the "in" thing, K-Love is doing it now.

The fact of the matter is, the East is a far weaker conference than it was 4 years ago. If you have a lineup such as Kyrie-Waiters-LeBron-Love-Varajao, that's good, but honestly not great. The trade for K-Love made me think, on the Cavs, who will play defense?

Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, LeBron, K-Love, Varajao, Matthew Dellevedova, Joe Harris, Brendan Haywood, James Jones, John Lucas III, Mike Miller, Dwight Powell, Erik Murphy, Malcolm Thomas, and Tristan Thompson.

Aside from 3 or 4 of those guys, none have been known to play good defense. Kyrie this year DID NOT show me he was a max player. The combo of Love and Varajao is good for rebounds, but if they don't play good D then how can they expect to get 10 RPG?

It's sad to say, but you need rings to be recognized. Karl Malone, 2nd all-time in scoring, never mentioned anywhere near the best players of all-time, simply because he never won a ring.
