Totally agreed with Fierzer, then immediately couldn't resist responding lol. I can't recall exactly when I started. I'd say maybe about 3-5 days after the app came out.

Ahh, come on game! I needed a PF at least better than Anthony Davis to make my roster, but Pau Gasol Epic isn't better. I was really hoping my LU would improve because there's one guy I'm a bit worried about facing in the finals this season.
Playoffs are about to start and its going to be while I'm sleeping. Guess I'm not sleeping

I'm not much of a Lakers fan, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Pau isn't doing so well last few years. I would say even kobe feels the same way about him when there on the floor together; then again, he always complains about anybody's poor performances that affect his team. Love his facial expressions.
Anyways, they need to add a card when he was in his prime. When he won rings with kobe and Bynum, the twin towers, was impressive. I'd love to see that card and many other yearly version of players. For example, Steve nash when he got MVP on pheonix with studamire (really too lazy to google how to spell stoudamire's name or my facts lol but I'm pretty sure nash has an MVP and assist awards)

He deserves it. He's an active contributor on this forum and I believe he went more than 35,000 games before acquiring a legendary; many others would've been screaming their lungs off if they had to endure the same bad luck.

NW would you be able to give us a hint on which teams will be included in the next rivalry event? :x

Thats exactly what I meant by having a hard time arguing his card numbers. Although I know you mentioned that you don't follow LAL too much, you're pretty much right. His constant role change within the team has affected his numbers and effectiveness on the court for some some years now. Wouldn't be surprised if other personal issues were taking place behind the scenes too, but whatever lol. A lot of people on here have brought up the idea you just did too, about player cards in their prime. I think it'd be cool as hell, but the card catalog might just end up being 4x the amount it is now. Could you imagine how long it could possibly take to turn any card pro?

Hi guys!
First time posting here and i am really happy i finally found a forum for this game. I have been playing it for about a month now and i love it.

So far i got 2 legendaries, 2 epics from the draft and i bought a couple of epics too. The game is far from perfect, but it is really fun so far.

Unfortunately i wasnt able to win a season yet, but i keep on trying. These are the cards i use for the season (not done upgrading AC Green):

I also have a question about the rivlary mode, that was a huge letdown for anyone that has anything else to do besides playing 24/7...
Did anyone figure out a way to constantly beat the 5 pt games without using only legendaries etc? Basically the best way to beat the 5pt games.

Did anyone figure out a way to constantly beat the 5 pt games without using only legendaries etc? Basically the best way to beat the 5pt games.

Currently using multiple legendaries is less efficient than other tiers. I found the most success using 3 Epic Pro's (or epics) with two common cards. There's a couple reasons for this:

-There are a too many teams using rares, and the matchmaking has a broad base of players to pair you with if you use just rares or rare pros. So it'll find the most accurate way to pair you, so slightly less effective than using Epics.

-There aren't enough teams with multiple legendarys. So when you use 2-3 legendary pros, you end up getting paired up against elite decks that may have 4+ legendary pros. It's actually less effective to use Legendary pro's than it is to use 3 Rare pro's.

-There's not a TON of difference in effectiveness between the three tiers of cards, since you can win as long as you have one card that specializes in certain things (I use one card for high ball ctrl + mental game, one for Defense, One for Offense). But if you don't want to pay attention as much during these games, and just randomly put out 3 cards to face your opponent in any order, then using Epic Pro's or Epics is the most effective way.

-One other tip is to use one of your common cards in your first slot always, so you can make your opponent burn one of his best cards. The other common card is best used in either the 3rd or 2nd slot. My best strategy is having two similarly rated Epic Pro's as your strong cards, and have a crappier Epic pro as my 3rd card. Mostly because most teams don't have 5 deep epic lineups, so the 5th turn will usually be an easy win anyway. And it'll pair you with even worse teams if your 3rd best card is a bit worse than your first two.

Just some common things that I picked up and I'm sure many others would also tell you. There's a lot of top 20 leaderboard players here on the forums. Personally I was top 5 but there's also the top leaderboard guy here and a lot of other top 20 players that will probably also give some advice and insight before the next event

Thanks man, I think you're right about the chances dropping after buying an epic pack, ever since I bought mylast one, I haven't encountered an epic in the draft for a while. Lol it's almost as if they punish the ones who spend their money. 2k logic lol

Thanks! I wish i would have had more time to play the event. I got into the 200s with sth like 5400pts in total, but i had exams in university and already played as much as i could.
So far i dont have any epic pros, i will try the tips though.
With my setup i played the 3pt games because i win like 8-9/10 and thought that would be better.
I really have to try this though, so i can gain points easier.
