I've been getting excited by pulling uncommon players I don't have dupes for... with over 17,500 wins or so I am getting close to the end unless something drastic changes with matchmaking or rivalry events

I have a great line up and still feel that way regardless. NWGamedad did mention in a previous post that there will not be any prize in the next rival event that will be less than a rare. I finished the rival event at 217 but I don't have that much time to dedicate nor would I be willing to give that much time anyway. I was taking it nice easy but still putting in a fair amount of time in. So if that tier or re-structured tier is a fixed Epic than I will be much happier.

However, I do agree that it's essentially quick games masked as a new game mode. That being said it's not an enjoyable journey to the finish and certainly less so for those that competed for the Kobe card.

I'm personally excited for the next Rivals event. I know it felt like a huge grind the first time, but I actually miss having such a competitive goal to shoot for. Otherwise, I personally don't ever do quick games anymore. I thought I'd feel burnt out, but it does feel great to chase a very unique card.

Just like with women, it's all about the chase. :P

C'mon Shokase, admit you miss it too.

As someone who has spent money I agree. I won my second season but up to season 6 didn't do much of anything. I made it to the finals twice before being swept in one and losing in six. It just was frustrating not winning and seeing the lu in QG that I was seeing. So I said forget it and bought a few packs that of course got the best of me a bit. I do feel a little bad that people who have run into my teams the last three seasons may have not had fun.

I won my first 3 seasons but that was before you could even buy epic packs. After people could buy epic packs I've finished 2nd twice in about 2+ months.

Maybe I'm just really lucky but I've only run into 2 teams that had stats over 3.2k in 17 season (12-5). I've lost five seasons one loss was to one of those teams (one guy had 3.8k average but didn't recharge for first round playoffs.) the other four losses I've had were all fairly competitive playoffs in which no teams swept the finals. My stats for my most recent season (won yesterday) are about 2.4k, 2.8k, 2.6k, 3.1k.

if you play the game and like it then support the devs right? Its free after all. Thats like stealing music, instead of buying an album of an artist you like you'd rather download it for free rather then support the artist.

Oh hell no lol. Maybe i would have a different perspective but 1 *** **** epic card pulled in over 4000 games 10 hours per day for 5 days. Waking up playing, eat while playing, brush teeth 1 hand play with the other, drive with one hand play with another, etc. rewards have to be drastically improved for me to even consider that again.

LMAO!!! thought I had a legit chance finally and this guy sandbagged. Definitely threw in a tougher lineup right at the 3rd round. I had better stats all year and playoffs until right now. Good move, welp another 3rd round exit coming up. I'm done lol

Yeah, I still don't get the point of doing that. I always put out my best lineup from the get go. It will vary a bit as I rotate my inactives in to rest some guys just because I don't like using energy during the season.

Exactly that's how I run my squad too just to save energy. But I always got my guys out there!

Id be damned if i buy an album of any these established rappers. My support will go into buying more useless chains, cars and strippers.
