Why did you guys decide to extend the time for this event and did the hoarding of hot streaks have an effect on the servers like the pick hoarding did or was solely because you didn't want people to shoot up in the ranks in the last few hours? Appreciate the posts and good stuff with the changes!

The timing on the last event quite frankly was broken by me. When I did the settings I screwed up in my calculations (all our settings are in UTC) because we were not 100% when Apple would approve our update. All events should follow the timing of this one in the future.

Whoops, forgot to answer you second question. The hoarding of Hot Streaks isn't about the server hit, it is more about the affect on gameplay. We didn't like that players were not seeing their "true" rank with players storing up so many Hot Streaks. With the better rewards and tighter ranks at the top we wanted players to have a much better idea of where they stand at all times.

We'll firstly, the 1st rivalry event top 20s... We didn't get anything other than a rivalry kobe. Can you give the top 20 from the last event their legendary pros and stuff? It was 14 hours of gameplay each day for me, I was number 8. All I got was 1 rivalry kobe and I could've gotten a legendary pro and a legendary support... I feel like I wasted my time... And EyeGotSoul must feel worse. May we please get our rewards deserved?

I'm sorry but we're not retroactively changing the rewards for past events. You received exactly the rewards we advertised for that first event. The Kobe card will not come up again so you have something really unique.


For this tournament we changed the rewards to what I just posted, so you'll have to play this tournament to win those rewards.

Yes, Hot Streaks can still be purchased for 10 credits. Free Hot Streaks also drop from the draft board.

I approve.

Spurs v Rockets is kind of a weak "rivalry", but it's cool because it gives a chance for teams that aren't in a HUGE market to actually WIN the Rivals Clash, so we can see those cards.

I'd LOOOOOOOOOOOVE a Rivals Hakeem card though. Especially with PF/C's getting a boost. Hakeem would be an incredible card.

Or maybe T-Mac..... ?

Gotta say, even after thinking the first event was kinda terrible, I'm excited for this.

The "Winning or Losing" team simply determines which team's cards are issued as rewards. Your Personal Points affect your rank and determines which of those rewards you will receive. So in this case the rewards are either going to be Spurs or Rockets cards. If you pick Spurs, but the Rockets win you will get the rewards based on your personal Rank, but you will receive Rockets cards even though you selected to play for the Spurs.
