I will totally grind for a Hakeem. Maybe a REAL George Gervin for the Spurs legend? (Though no issues with Robinson or Duncan... if Hakeem is the option I'm picking HOU regardless)

Those prizes are crazy. And it's barely the trading deadline, my fair disciple/imposter... the Finals aren't until June, it would be silly to expect them to close a seasonal basketball game before the playoffs even start. There should still be months before that's even a concern.

We'll there are only 20 kobe rivalry cards, while there will be a hundred Hakeem/Duncan card, so The Kobe rivalry card is rarer

It's not the way you think really, it's about how the card you grinding for will improve your team. I know my team is strong in BC AND MG, my def and off are weak so getting that Hakeem will be a boost on off and def, it's all about balancing your team in some way. Hakeem was beast on off and def, can't wait to see those stats. The way the event is set up i will decide if i play or not depends on what card.

Considering the height of the Houston v. San Antonio "rivalry" was the 1995 Western Conference Finals, Hakeem v. David Robinson makes a ton of sense.

Incidentally, Hakeem DOMINATED Robinson in that series (even though The Admiral was the league MVP that year).

I don't know if Cat Daddy is doing it with that much attention paid to history (Kobe v. Bird suggest they aren't), but it'd be cool to see them go that route.

MWGD- If you guys DO care about this kind of stuff... I'd LOVE to help out in upcoming Rivals Clash events. I know my history...

I know my team is strong in BC AND MG, my def and off are weak so getting that Hakeem will be a boost on off and def, it's all about balancing your team in some way. Hakeem SHOULD be a beast in BC also. Best handle ever for a center.

I'm guessing Duncan rival card paired with DRobinson legendary VS Hakeem rival card with DHoward legendary? I'll go with the Spurs if that's the case! 2 sure fire hall of famers VS 1 hall of famer. :-)

My boy who plays this game is already so fat. He hides cookies and chips under his pillow, and i'm positive he doesnt sleep at night while he grinds away quick games...err i mean rivals clash games. It's very unhealthy

Rivals Clash Event #2 is all set to roll out. I wanted to let you guys know some details now. We'll be rolling things out in app over tomorrow and Sunday.


The event will start at 12:01am PST, Sunday. This will be the Pre-Game only announcing the two teams and allowing you to see the rules. The gameplay portion will start on Tuesday, 12:01am PST, and will end on Sunday (March 2nd), 6:01pm PST. You will then have 3 days to claim your reward.


Unfortunately, you can't see the rewards during the Pre-Game time period (something we are fixing for our next update). However, here's how rewards are going to work for this event:


Rank 1 (yes, one person) - Rivals Clash Pro card + Legendary Pro + Legendary Support


Ranks 2-10 - Rivals Clash Card + Legendary Pro + Legendary Support


Ranks 11-25 - Rivals Clash Card + Legendary Pro


Ranks 26-50 - Rivals Clash Card + Legendary + Legendary Support


Ranks 51-125 - Rivals Clash Card


Ranks 126-250 - Legendary Card + Legendary Support


Ranks 251-500 - Legendary Card


Ranks 501-1250 - Epic Pro + Epic Support


Ranks 1251-2000 - Epic Pro


Ranks 2001 - 4500 - Epic


Ranks 4501 - 25000 - Rare Pro


Ranks 25000+ - Rare


Yes, I originally said we would not be Pro'ing Rivals Clash cards, but we wanted to give the top player a really special reward.


A couple of other things about this event. First, you will not be allowed to store more than 3 Hot Streaks at a time. This means you will have a more meaningful read on where you stand vs. other players at all times. This will prevent players from storing hundreds of Hot Streaks to bomb the leaderboard in the final hour.


Second, when you are able to see the rewards, we have a bug currently where the stats of the level 0 card will appear slightly higher than what they will be when you receive the card. This will be fixed in a future update, but for now be aware that your card rewards will be slightly lower than seen in the rewards screen. The Clash cards are still better than Legendary cards and slightly worse than Legendary Pro cards overall. The Legendary, Epics, and Rares we show in the Rewards screen are identical to the Epics and Legendary cards you see in your decks now.


The Rival team announcement will be going out tomorrow in app. Take a look for that. Good luck in the tournament!


Oh, tomorrow we will also be releasing some updated card data including the changes for Centers and Power Forwards. Overall you should see improvements in stats for all C and PF position players.

Now I can def get into rivals this time around. We all have something to play for now because I really don't have the time to get top 20 or even 50. But i can def squeeze between the 100-500 mark. So I love the rewards with this event, i might even "tank" for my first epic pro lmao. Another legendary single would be nice but ultimately i need a pro card!
