One other note... of the people who got random rares, were there any that WEREN'T Lakers? I got Baylor, I've seen others get him, Hill, Green. Just curious.

I've been playing games since the Nintendo came out in 1985 and I agree some games are fun to earn your way up. Sports games I do like that I can speed up the process a bit. Mostly because they tend to have a short life span with all the games that I play.

I got Kaman. They were definitely all Laker drops.

Unless you got an Epic Pack, you got a Laker.

I havent said once that i regret playing actually. I just said it was mind numbingly long and boring. I dont have a great season deck so kobe was a decisive upgrade. Youre the one attacking people for getting top 20.

I love you gettng top 20. I hate you bitching about getting top 20 and how much of a grind it was. So what if 15/20 had paid at some point. That's 5 who didn't, who had no other way to get a certain legendary+ I responded to "I am going to disagree. From what I see at least 15/20 who got the Kobe (myself included) have already spent on the game. With the ability to buy hot streaks it only reinforces pay to play winners."

There were plenty of people who benefited or could have benefited without paying to be winners. TomBlacheck got a Magic Johnson. I got a Peja so at least one more epic I might dupe.

EDIT: I apologize for the part about you specifically regretting playing. That was my mistake in getting caught up with some of the other complaints. So I owe you 100% an apology for that. I still completely disagree about this being pay to win. Shokase got there without needing any of his bought credits for hot streaks. Others of you probably could have too and you grinded tons on the way. Other people grinded and gained epic packs or got Byron Scotts or whatever. What I was saying is that you only concern yourself with the top 20 in your "pay to win" thing when plenty of people didn't.

Daaaaaaamn FREEDOM feels so good! Wanted to check in here towards the end of the event, but I literally just threw some stuff on and just shot outta my apartment haha.

Let's hope the next rivalry mode only lasts for 2 days. Everyone's getting raccoon eyes and missing thumbs.

Hey guys, you may or may not remember me here, I posted a lot in December and early January, but stopped playing. Noob question here: how do you select the team you want to be in rivalries? I don't get rivalries at all and I'm still trying to figure them out. Thanks!

When you first open up the mode you get an option of two teams and pick one. That's really about it. Only happens when rivalry event is actually happening though (and the first one just ended). Next one is presumably in 1.5 weeks (They said every other week)

Lol, just forget about it Anchen. Some of these people will complain no matter what they get. They act like someone forced them to play and receive an elite card that the majority didn't get.

I second this... 5+ days was a mega grind. 48-72 hr max recommended in the future. That would help with burnout.

If so I'd hope it is at least mostly on a weekend though. While I think the grind is ok, work kinda gets in the week of doing any major grinding. Yesterday was my only major grind day.

The people here with these well thought out opinions are probably better off saving it for NWGamedad. Cuz a lot of you guys make some really insightful points that I HOPE is AT LEAST considered by the devs. No diss to anyone at all, but goin in on each other about the game, won't change the game at all. We start to look like Stephen A and Skip lol. I'm sure most of you are already aware of that, so I'm not shedding any light on anything new, but sometimes I think we just need to be reminded. That's all. But hey, it's a forum, so do as you please.
