Out of the top 20 I probably had the crappiest lineup, I need the legendary pro, kobe rivals and the legendary support the most, cause non of my stats even hit 3000... To a lot of you a legendary pro won't mean much, or a lot of you would disagree with me, but most of you guys weren't in the top 20, you don't understand how much time and effort it took.

Exactly. This time around, I could have gotten the rivals card, a legendary and legendary support instead of the useless David West epic for the exact same placement (26th). But I'm not complaining. I knew exactly what I was getting into when I started spending all that time.

Heck I probably played about 500 regular quick games during the event just because there was no point and I wanted to stockpile more energy.

You're right, it is absurd. We totally agree on that point.

I also happen to think it's absurd to spend 2 grand on a mobile game. I'm not mad about it, I just plain don't understand the desire to do that. I can't comprehend why someone would want to do it.

I just think it's silly to say "well the rewards last time were not as good as this time, and last time I tried really hard, so you should give me this time's rewards for last time!"

That's just not the way the world works, sorry. You made the decision to play 8 hours/day for those rewards. Now you regret it because this event has better rewards. I really hope cat daddy doesn't cave in and give anything to anybody. We all knew what the rewards were. I won't say it again but essentially NWGameDad has already said exactly what I'm saying now in this thread; that everyone knew what the rewards were, and there will be no going back and giving out new rewards for last event.

Let's see you get in the top 150 this time for the rivalry card, then for you to find out next event, at rank 150 you get a pro version of the card, a legendary pro and a legendary support...

You have so many legendary/epic pros, another legendary to you won't matter that much. I'm still rolling with Anderson varejao at center, and I have about 10 rare pros in my season lineup...

It might matter if it gave me a pro or better than what I have legendary. Having said all of that I stand by what I said.

Disagree, there should have been more details in reference to the Rivals Reward card such as it can never be a pro.....this information should have ben sent as a message in the game or included in the details. A lot of people, including myself will eventually have no use for that Kobe card. And, if we knew that information before the event started we would have dropped out. I looked at the Lakers cards and observed the spot for the Kobe Rivals card and right next to it was the place for the pro version so that to me is false advertisement.

There were plenty of details. Maybe because I've been paying attention here but once it started there was a list of things so I knew what I was getting into.

I wouldn't care. Honestly, I really wouldn't. I've been gaming for 25 years. I've been gaming online for 10+. This is just the nature of gaming. You deal with it or you stop being a gamer.

Now I'm not saying you don't complain about the game. You guys have every right to complain. And if cat daddy somehow gives in, I'll be complaining right back, about how I quit playing the event because of the rewards. And I'll probably keep complaining about how ridiculously terrible it is that some people get 3 legendaries in 10000 picks and some people get 0 in 30000.

I respect your right to complain about it, I just sincerely hope you don't get anything new for last event, because that's incredibly unfair to other hundreds of people who decided the rewards weren't worth their time.

I have been a member on these forums for 3 years and I just recently (yesterday) found out we had a thread for this app. That being said, The information you all learned on here was not communicated through the game itself. I doubt we will get anything more from the last event and that is fine but from a business standpoint that is not a smart business practice. But, I am here now and all is good.

Man no disrespect to you guys who use the strategy of using your best lineup for the playoffs but that's just kind of wack once you've been kicking everyone's a** all year and then someone all of a sudden shoots up the ladder with amazing stats and down you for another year lol. I'm depressed I'm going to take a break from this app for a bit. After these playoffs of course, it's just first round but I've already spotted the guy who I beat like 4 times already and now his stats are crazy lol.

Do you not get it? You didn't waste your time, you can just grind for this event. The people in the top 20 already grinded, they can't get that time back. If you thought the rewards weren't worth your time, grind this time. EyegotSoul, Shokase, Twista, me etc already spent the time. If you spent the exact same time I did but on this event you'd get so much more stuff than the people in the top 20 last event did for their time.

Fwiw i dont expect better rewards for last time or any retroactive payment. Is it ****ty that i wont? Yeah. Is it a dealbreaker? Not really.

At the end of the day its the same as them changing season rewards and Twista asking for 20+ seasons worth of retroactive rewards. I grinded for the Kobe, and if another card I want comes along ill grind for that one too. I got what i worked for, no use in crying foul now.

I don't see how it's not smart business? They gave away exactly what was stated in the rewards section. That's all they have to do. Besides with your LU you really shouldn't be complaining. I mean you said you haven't lost a season game I forever and won multiple seasons. As nice as my LU you would wipe the floor with me so I can't help but not feel sorry for you.

Remember he may have gotten a boost for the upgrade to the PF/C position.

Just make sure you're fully charged each game. That guy is in my QG list.
