Quick Update


- The Google update is indeed out. Sorry for the delay. If you're seeing crashes, please send us a report from in game if you can via the Feedback button located on the Options menu ("gear" from the Home screen). That will send us some data we need to try and replicate the problem. We suspect that the crash is actually related to the Ray Allen issue. If you played a Quick Game vs. someone with a Ray Allen when the card popped up in game it would probably crash you. Which leads to...


- We posted a fix for the Ray Allen problem. You will need to go to the Home screen twice just once. That will initiate a download that permanently fixes Ray Allen.

This game needs a 1 year life till the next one ( hopefully).

The catalogue is enough big for us to last 1 year without buying anything.

But maybe another system of draft will attract more people.

Like every 500 picks you get an epic, it can be after 2 but max 500 and 1000 picks a legendary. Knowing that everytime you pick it it restart from 0 so no need to wait another 498 picks in my exemple.

At least we still play for something and we have a chance to achieve that catalogue. Otherwise i don't see how it will be possible by picking 1 epic every 10k picks in my case.

I disagree that you should get a guaranteed epic after a certain number of picks.... but, perhaps some kind of trade of rares for an epic I can agree with completely. That way after a certain amount of time, if you haven't gotten an epic, you can trade several-ish rares for one.

I was thinking of sports games, my team, fifa and stuff, and I thought, we should be able to get credits by winning quick games, so if you don't spend IRL cash you can still get packs. Maybe you can get 5 credits per win, 3 per loss? Then people that don't pay can still open packs and save up for the pack they wish.

It seems that I have been getting more rares...I think I've gotten like 10 energy cards and 4 rares. But the 4 rares are 3 rares which I already have a Rare-Pro for, and a support rare. So they've all been worthless.

Another Update:


Any of you that use the MyGame side of the app, we just posted a fix for the Lottery and Pick & Win issues people were having. Unfortunately, we had to reset the MyGame side accounts which wiped out the historical data of past Pick & Win results. However, the good news is the problems caused by bad saves which led to Pick & Win and Lottery failing daily have been squashed.


On the MyTeamMobile front...


- No Turty, I cannot tell you drop rate percentages. You'll just have to enjoy the mystery. ;-)


- Rivalries will absolutely be playable at the same time as Seasons and Quick Games. We're not taking any of the current forms of play away.


- Epics/Legendary Discussion - This is a big topic and I could write pages about what sells or doesn't sell, what's fun or not, etc. I will say we want the game to have longevity, that it is a fun to play, and we can make money on it (all games need to make money to survive, simple business). At the same time, we have tried to make sure that anything we sell is achievable by the free player, it may just take the free player more time. When you play against someone in Quick Play it doesn't matter if they purchased the card or not, it still has the same stats, it still needs to be leveled up the same, their abilities still trigger at the same rates, etc. As someone else pointed out, even with our current level of content someone buying cards will still have a lot to strive for as will the free player punching out 20k Quick Games. Trust me it's a delicate balance in the world of mobile/free to play games nowadays, but everyone on this team wants to make sure the game is enjoyable. Honestly, it is why we decided to not limit play with some type of energy system. A proven method of making money in other games, but we simply didn't like it. Like I said, I could talk about this endlessly. I'd rather go check my Season finals and energize my front 5.

Honestly, I feel that trading needs to be implemented. In all major sports games, FIFA, 2K, MLB, there is some form of trading. Do you know what trading brings into a game? I sense of business, an element of commerce. It makes the game more 3 dimensional, giving it the extra quality of being able to interact and make profit from smart investments and honest research. Trading should be implemented so it gives the game an extra incentive to rares that are unused and also more strategy to how we use our picks and manage our cards.
Epic packs should be thrown out all together, I feel the old format of packs already gave enough of an advantage. I bought 4 Epic packs already and got a Legendary Ewing and 3 epics. No point in grinding quick games anymore. Trading would make us earn it, albeit differently from grinding quick games. And instead of just looking for the short term profit, 2K & Cat Daddy should consider the long term benefits of working with their player base and strive to a mutual goal. This would benefit both parties in the long haul, appeasing both developers and users alike.

is there ANY chance to add a collection feature like EA ultimate team mode has? (like...collect each available uncommon for the bulls to receive a random bull rare, collect each available rare for the bulls 2x to receive a random bull epic, collect each bull epic 2x to recieve a bull legendary?)

So i played about 200 games while killing time at work.

Got 2 rare supports
3 rare player cards parsons jordan crawford and trevor ariza
And an epic chris bosh

Pretty sure the drop rates have been improved by significant amount
