Eeeeek! I am embarrassed to say this but in the neighborhood of 5k. Every time I think about it I get sick to my stomach knowing I really threw that money away. I mean, I will never have anything to show for it once this game is done. SMH!

Damn man that's a lot. I'm still struggling to decide if I should buy 50$ credits to open some epic packs lol. One of the main reason that is holding me back is that I don't think this game would last for me personally.

its best not to live with regrets though, a person will be miserable like that. I haven't spend thousands haha but i have spent hundreds now, and I think thats a lot but I'm not upset or regretful.

I'm one unlucky man, that's for sure. 8000 games played, no legendary at all. Last week tried my luck with one epic pack, guess who I get....
Andrew Bynum, who doesn't help my lineup at all as well. Though I can't really complain that much, for I do have a Blake Griffin Pro, who is one of the best epic pros I believe.

That is one of the few epics that I still have yet to receive.

Yes, that's what I think as well. Me personally, I bought one epic pack, got Andrew Bynum, but I'm not doing it again. One because my luck sucks and second because I think it kinda spoils the fun a little bit. But that's my personal opinion. On the other hand, we will never have line ups as beastly as Twosta's

You have said this several times, and I agree on principal. But did the epic packs not do this already, it went from the only way of getting a legendary is the paltry draft board chances to, what about a 1 in 5 chance for 20 bucks.

I don't know if you have posted a lineup, but being in a season against you I've seen your stats. You have to be sitting on at least 10 legendary pros. Seems wierd to knock increasing rewards for season and rivals but have no issues with spending thousands to have agruably the best lineup in the game. Not to mention the hours being in the top 20 last time and 50 this time.

This is not intended to be an attack or flame in any way, just an observation. It is awesome you are so passionate about the game. Hopefully this doesn't come off as negative, or criticism.

The happy medium should be decent rewards for time spent, or if you choose to spend your time on other things and have the cash, buy the rewards. They have already crossed and burnt the bridge of proliferation of top tier cards.

If you look at the history of this thread, the minute the legendary packs came out I spent nearly a dozen posts ranting about how the inclusion of buying legendary cards was not good for the longetivity of the game. Back then there weren't as many active people on the forums, but I made sure to be very vocal about the implementation of the packs. Inevitably if there's no change, you have to play the cards you're dealt with by the devs. So yes even after all the ranting I gave in and bought many myself.

My biggest peeve has always been letting the most valuable type of items be given too easily in a community driven game (like an MMO). Mostly because we all spend time/money/or whatever and hope that ultimately it will last and not just die in a month. Hence, there have been many of us that are very vocal when we perceive something to be bad for the game economy, as opposed to the individual player. But they are strictly opinions, and devs may already have a certain sense of direction that they wish to take their game.

However, regardless of our personal opinions and voices, I don't think anyone should hold back and strip themselves of the opportunity to take advantage of what the game offers. Speaking up about the distaste towards epic packs to devs shouldn't stop people from purchasing them if it's in their power. Just like how speaking up against certain aspects of the Rivals system hasn't stopped me from participating actively in both events so far. You do what you can to progress, while also trying to be vocal about things you believe.

at 40th position now, took a little advantage of people sleeping but its going to be hard during the day to try to get in top 25, with many many hot streaks though I hope there is a chance

Yea. Great point you made. The money you spend probably save a lot of time of grinding. That's the way I would think of it

If it was 20$ for a guarantee legendary card. I would buy it right away lol. I mean some epics aren't even better than pro rares.

I would even say that If they added a guaranteed legendary pack for like 35 bucks, and keep the epic pack with a chance of getting epics, I would buy a legendary one. Because actually most epics are worse than rare pros and that is just a bummer...
In the point where I am in this game, just a epic pro would improve my line up, because most epics are worse than rare pros...

On point. I have never spent more than $5 on any mobile game. Being an NBA fanatic helps out but the design of the game also makes it so addictive and draws you into purchasing credits.

I'm sure it will be but you have to keep an eye on the dude behind you. Before I purchased credits, moving up ranks was tough/slow/boring, now it is a breeze. I would say a 10,000 lead would secure you but keep an eye.
