Try arguing as to why should something to be carried over, then maybe we will be in position to expect it too. Or are you saying its a bad business to support loyal customers?

theres still a ton of time before the new game will come out (if there is one) plus they could just do what ea does and just give returning players a reward in the form of credits.

In no way am i arguing that CD SHOULDN'T continue the app, and let us keep our cards. Who would argue otherwise? I'm talking about what I think is actually going to happen, based on what I'm seeing. I think the way they're giving out Legendaries
is indicative of the game coming to a close.

I don't feel like I'm adding to it, by discussing it. I also don't think CD is silly enough to not know how we'd all feel if the game just died, and we lost everything.

Thought 1: Adding Rivals was the perfect compromise for those that wanted better cards without buying packs. I think they could have stopped there and been fine.

Thought 2: I think with the new season rewards they are taking a dump on the people that have spent a lot of money on the game

Thought 3: My best guess as to the overall plan going forward is that they want to hook the large influx of new players we have seen in the last few Rivals by getting great cards to them quicker. Then, reset catalogs for 2015 and hope the masses jump on buying packs early to try and get ahead of each other. They need legendary cards to be desirable and hard to obtain, so I also would expect either season rewards to scale back for 2015, maybe strictly to credits, or for matchmaking to be random, or both.
