Ok so I saw the rewards this morning... Listen I'm an all-time Laker fan no matter what and a big Swaggy P fan but to give him a Star card over Shaq, Magic and just from beign the logo, Jerry West is silly and then the Star Greg Monroe... CD you had Chauncey Billups, Rasheed and Ben Wallace, heck you could have even switched the cards around a bit and done Joe Dumars... The rewards for this RC are so mismatched it's crazy, guys just thank God that at least he gave the CD team enough sense to do Kobe and Isaiah and just wait for the next RC (so I can easily get that awesomely cool Kobe, lol, jk). Good luck to all playing this RC and I hope you get what you want!

Isiah is 1 overall base stat higher than kobe, and kobe has super high off which reduces the difference. Ideally, isiah is the better card despite being a PGmynba2k14:

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Have a question about training cards. Should I train by position, by stats no matter what the position is or doesn't really matter? Fortunately I have quite a few Super Rare so I also use my rare cards to train, didn't know if I should keep them or not. Also when I get the same cards I combine and train them...or is it best to train them separately?-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Ugh, SF is the position I need the least help in, and SG the most. But 11,000+ is double what I've been getting so far. Choices, choices...

It doesn't matter which cards you use to train. It is best to fully train the 2 individual cards, combine them, then train the combined card.Last edited by Sinner; 01-25-2015, 11:53 AM.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I know there is much ire over the Swaggy P card, and I expected it. However, I wanted to explain the logic and how he ended up with a Star card. I'm sure many will still disagree, but I assure you we didn't just make the card randomly because we are "not basketball fans". We are a card game and sometimes there are many things to consider.
For this RC I wantsd Lakers vs. Detroit. Both haven't had a RC yet, and they have some history together. We have never done a RC card of Kobe either so I wanted to get him a card finally. Of course it is tough to match up against Kobe so really Isaih was the only choice. That left who to put in the Star card position. When we launched the Star tier we put more historical players in there knowing we would fill the tier out with RC launched Star cards of current players. This would prevent the tier from being historical players only. The rough choice for this event though was that the Lakers, to put it delicately, are terrible this season. Beyond Kobe who is a perennial star player, who meets the status this season? The answer is no one, yet we had to fill the rarity of we wanted to keep the Lakers as a RC team. So, we went with a "popular" player in Swaggy P.
I hear all the feedback, just understand how we got there. The inevitable questions of why not Shaq, Magic, virtually any of the dozens of All Stars that have played for the Lakers over the years are fair, but understand the goal of trying to get a current player in the mix. Also, we have many plans still for those great players and we don't want to dilute the card pool with 20 versions of the same guy.
As for Monroe, for this Season he was the Detroit top player by stats when I designed the card. That is why he got the Star spot. I disagree that he wasn't deserving at least for his play this Season.
Hopefully that helps explain the RC rewards. I'll duck for cover now so the shooting can continue. ;-). Thanks for playing!NWGameDad

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
If what you 're asking is for cards that you want to use as training fodder for other cards, then it's better to max them and use them separately to train the higher cards.
For example, if you want to train an Epic card and you have 2 Super Rares, it is best to max the 2 Super Rares and then use them separately to train the Epic. Do not max them before you combine them into a Super Rare Pro if you just want to train the Epic. You lose XP that way. Alternatively you can combine them at zero level, then max the Pro and use it to train the Epic.Last edited by apos1914; 01-25-2015, 12:05 PM.Bring Romar back!!!Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Not the best rewards for this RC sure. My weakest position are PG and C and this RC won't help me because i'll never play enough to get the Isiah. On the other hand there's a chance to dupe Byron and Boozer at same time. Or go for Worthy or the 2 LaRussos
What should i do? my choices are:
- Worthy
- the LaRussos
- pro-ing Byron and Boozer
(Im sure Lakers win, but i play for Pistons, i'd Pick that Dumars)

If you wanna use the cards for playing, then of course you should Pro them properly. But if you just want to use them as training fodder you should either max the 2 cards and use them separately or combine them at zero level and then max the Pro to be used as training fodder.Bring Romar back!!!Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
He was referring to the star cards. The only 3 so far have been current: Irving, rose and now Young. I get the reasoning by you NW under the circumstances BUT if the best player for the highest tier is someone as awful as swaggy p you should just drop the "must be current" idea and for this one RC put in someone else.
