Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Yiy no matter what if you have a chance go to any game you can no matter who they are playing. I just went this year and it was easily the greatest sporting event I have been to. It was the Mar. 25 against the Heat. Yea they lost the game by like 10 or so but the fans were into until the final seconds. And the Garden was rocking.
Yeah. The crowd is always amazing there. I was one of the very few heat fans at that conference finals game. These fans go crazy especially on playoff games, literally non stop. I remember how everybody was screaming when lebron got called an offensive foul and fouled out(damn people here hate him so much lol) I have been to several other reg season games and though they ain't that crazy and into it, it's still very amazing to see. Although I'm not a huge celtics fan but I still enjoy going to the games, just the atmosphere and the fans.mynba2k14:

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Sigh....... Going to get knocked out of the playoffs in round one thanks to a tank not energizing during the season. I tied with 3 other players for 4th and ended up in the 6th spot. Thanks, Sagg, for trying this season. It's always nice to use legendary cards as training fodder.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Exactly when I first got the tickets like a week before I figured the crowd would be alright because the team is playing well and they were in the hunt at the time. But nothing like it was. And to all posting here if you are ever planning a trip to Boston try to attend any pro sporting event. Yea the tix are expensive but look on websites such as StubHub and go to worse team like in NBA a Knicks or 6ers game. The tix are cheap for those, food is a little overpriced but you get that at most sporting events. And as I have said the fans are great. They have passion and there hasn't been much violence at any of these games. I think in the past 5 years I only remember one incident of someone getting hurt attending a game and that was a stabbing earlier this year. But the guy was caught within 12 hours or so. But nothing like what has happened out in California with Bryan Stow and others.
Lol not 2014 Fenway.... I went to 3 sox games last season and people were leaving the games early....lol we sucked last year...especially coming off a WS championship seasonmynba2k14:

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
The last 15 years have been great to be a fan of the Boston area sports teams. The years before that were pretty lean.
I remember the embarassment of the '85 season Super Bowl against the Bears (Still the worst ever 1st half performance by a team offensively ever, I think). I remember Buckner. I remember all the losing seasons and then the Tuna came and the Pats made the Super Bowl and it even seemed winnable at one point but then gut punch. Then the Tuna was gone and Carrol was terrible and then we hired that loser coach from the Browns. Oh... wait ... except it turns out he's now among the all time greatest. (total what the hell moment for us long time Pats fans to be sure!)
I remember the late 90's/early '00s Sox teams, with Pedro, who just couldn't seal the deal. I remember Pedro being left in just a little too long in '03 and the Boone HR that was like a dagger.
And then I remember that next year down 3-0 to the hated Yanks in the ALCS, the Roberts steal, the crazy first ever comeback from down 3-0 and the title drought over. I remember talking to my dad, who I thought would live his whole life and never see it.
I remember the Bruins being so bad for so long. The best player of a generation we sent to Colorado so he could have a chance to hoist the cup. I remember being so happy for him. That Bruins cup was so sweet a couple years back.
And of course the Celtics raising another banner (and somehow losing another one with a huge lead in LA in a game I can't seem to erase from my brain).
And then there's the Patriots who stunned the Rams and lucked into a QB who may end up being considered the best to ever play the game. Those first 3 wins in 4 years were awesome. The dropped Samuel interception followed by Eli Manning turning into a good QB for one play and avoiding like 7 guys who could have sacked him and heaving up a ball, perfectly defended, that some nobody who never caught another pass somehow managed to keep stuck to his helmet for a "catch".
Then Eli somehow turning into a decent QB once again a few years later.
Then the unbelievable circus catch that would have been a TD if not for a heads up play by the Rookie who had already covered that play as well as it could be covered ... and then that same Rookie realized what play was coming and won the game and did away with the demons from '07.
Yeah ... for most of my life it has been incredible fans but disappointment. I'll treasure these last 15 years as a Boston sports fan. I doubt I'll live to see another stretch like this come again.
And if I could wish for just one thing ... it would be one more Super Bowl for Brady and Belichick. Brady reminds me a lot of Jordan .... HUGE chip on his shoulder, super demanding of his teammates, wears his emotions on his sleeve, always busting arse to get better. One more ring for those two to put them at the pinnacle. I could be happy if that happened and then all four of the Boston teams went back to losing the rest of my life.

The Bruins fans are rowdy and loud all the time. The atmosphere at Celtics games is great, but the Fleet Center (TD Garden now) can't hold a candle to the old Boston Garden. It's great ... but that old building was special.
The new football stadium isn't as close or noisy as the old one, but it's nice and not as bad for crowd noise as some of the newer stadiums are. I've only been twice, but I miss the old stadium.
The championship 2 years ago was a huge overperform. Last year was regression to the mean along with huge injury problems. Worried a bit about the rotation this year but as long as they can keep pace, hopefully they can pick up a starter or two and shore that up. The lineup should be really good though. I'm excited for this year.QG Tier: Legendary++
