Since it's not an exploit, what's the big deal then? At least all android users can be on a level playing field if they decide to do so.

Dude CD won't do a thing about it. It's all just money to them but this time it's not from us/the player but amazon. He already noted they can't see the difference between the transactions. All this will just lead CD to making new cards, something better than playoff cards so that the amazon users can "spend" more.

Second it is an exploit. They are getting packs that cost iOS users $20 for free. It's not just a one time thing they are getting a bunch of packs.

Yes, I know about it. I posted a response earlier in the thread. This is not an in game exploit. It's a promotion run by Amazon to increase the download of apps (at least I guess, I don't know Amazon's motivations so I am speculating) on the app store. They give free coins (Amazon's currency for use in their app store) for downloading apps of the day. You can then buy other apps that give you even more coins, which you can spend anyway that you want. There is nothing about this that is a scam or exploit. It's Amazon's promotion, and we have nothing to do with it. If players then decide to spend these coins in our game, it's the same as spending cash in our game. No different than using a free iTunes gift card you might get from your cable company for signing up.

Problem in we can't get unlimited gift cards, they can get unlimited coins

We are testing the fix, and will submit it to Apple as soon as we can. It will not get submitted before tomorrow unfortunately.

That's really Amazon's problem to fix. Again, we have nothing to do with their promotion. They may not even see it as a problem since they are getting tons of app downloads in their store (presuming that is why they are even running the promotion). I have no idea why they run different promotions or award certain coin amounts for certain app downloads.


As I have said before, there is nothing getting exploited in our game. There is nothing to fix for us in game. The Amazon purchases in our game are all legit.

Also how is it not an exploit in the PLAYERS eyes. I know to you the company it's just more money no matter how u get it, it's money I don't blame you but to us the PLAYERS it is an exploit. They are receiving unlimited free packs which equal an unlimited amount of the best cards, unlimited amount of hotstreaks in rivals. From the players perspective this is game breaking. Why compete in rivals when the players I'm trying to chase are playing 10 point games from start to finish with out spending a dime.

Amazon is giving away money to try to secure users. It's a marketing plan.. just like anything else a company will do.

Certain people are just using this free money Amazon is giving away, to buy packs. To expect CD to do anything about this is silly. What are they supposed to refuse the money?

My take: who cares.

Another person's deck has VERY little to do with your own. I keep repeating this, and people keep fighting me on this, but THIS GAME IS NOT COMPETITIVE. Just keep playing, and getting whatever cards you get. Another player getting their cards has nothing to do with you getting yours.

It only affects seasons, which everyone already seems to be unable to win, so what's it really affecting?

People need to just chill.

As for getting the coins for free, that isn't entirely true. True they are not spending money on the coins from Amazon, but they are spending time and bandwidth in downloading the apps. Maybe this promotion is spiking the sales of Kindle Fire HDs with Amazon, so Amazon loves the promotion. Who knows? I can only speak to MYNBA2K14, and there is no in game exploit occurring right now.

The only ones being "harmed" by this would be Amazon, but I'm sure their marketing budget more than covers whatever hit they're taking.

I agree 100% I've know about it for a couple weeks now and I've never cared the reason I care now is that it's out in the open now and every body will have beast cards well android users.

I absolutely don't blame CD for accepting their money hell I'm jealous.

But it is an exploit that will ruin the game for the players, if only a few people knew about it like 2 hours ago before it got posted on the main thread cool at least it's in a controlled environment.

Problem is big spenders are only a few people 10-50

Scammers are now in the hundreds

I know you can't do anything about but as a player it is an exploit

Again... Hasn't everyone here been complaining about how they can never win seasons? It seems like that's all I've been reading for months now.

So what's the real difference if now you lose to a mega truck instead of a regular truck..

But hey, life's not fair right? Just don't be surprised when this game is only played by Android users, which I assume is much less than iOS...


As my last post, i think a few have asked about the scam amazon method. Although i don't know exactly how it works (not really interested). I did a bit of quick google searching and figured out more or less how it worked. Basically look up slickdeal and amazon coin, you should see a thread describing how to get 2700 or so amazon coin (enough for a legendary pack) for free. Just download Amazon App store, reinstall the app and my guess is you can buy CD credit with amazon coins then you can repeat this process with additional accounts or maybe you can just reload the apps and get more coins? I haven't tested it so its speculation. It might be right, it might be close, it might be completely wrong... you can decide and test if you want... remember its speculation, not the actual method (tho it might be very close).
