Does it matter training cards with common or uncommon cards ? Wanna know if I'm short changing myself.

Not 100% sure if you are asking about training common and uncommon cards or training other cards with them.

either way, you will very quickly advance to where the main cards you are collecting are Rare and Super Rare. So there is no need to hang onto Common and Uncommon. Just use those to train you Rare and (a little later) your Super Rare.

I have combining problem. Have 2 ultra rare Jeremy Lins maxed at 20/20 and cannot combine. Why's that?

I'm experiencing this same strange problem. Can you combine untouched cards? I seem to be able to. But, can't combine any of my maxed out cards. Any others out there got this problem?

I don't get it. You go to a FAQ thread, but you don't read the FAQ.

It said on the first post that this is an issue and that you have to go to the 'combine' are from the menu then combine your max'd out cards.

If I use only common cards to train my legendary would the stats be the same as if I used only uncommon's or only rares ? Can't figure out if i should save higher tiered cards to train my legendary ones.

It said on the first post that this is an issue and that you have to go to the 'combine' are from the menu then combine your max'd out cards.

There is no need to be snarky ColonialPie, i was never rude to you, right? Or is that just how you always talk to all people? Wouldn't be nice if people could make insignificant, honest mistakes without others feeling the need to condescend or make rude assumptions? I suppose you have never made a slight mistake, must be nice.

Despite your assumption, I have read the FAQ multiple times, I just read it two more times. Even when i highlight every usage of the word "combine," as well as "bug," i still can't find it in the first post. I not saying you're wrong. But, for whatever reason, I don't see it in the location you provided. I suppose that opens me up for more condescension from you, but whatever, knock yourself out.

This is all I see on the subject:

Cards that are in your Quick Game deck can be Combined, but cannot be used to train other cards. When you Combine a card that is in your Quick Game deck, it will be replaced by the resulting Pro card.

Cards that are in a Season cannot be used to train other cards and cannot be Combined with another card, until the Season is over. You will need to swap the card out before you are able to use it to train another card, or combine with a duplicate card.
In both cases, this system is in place to prevent you from accidentally training away cards that you’re using in one of your decks. "

All that being said, you are certainly correct about the combine tab on the main menu. So, thank you for the info, if not the tone. I don't know how I overlooked that, maybe because it didn't exist in 2k14, and I just assumed "my Cards" and "quickplay" were the only spots to combine.

yeah, doesn't matter what you train with. All that matters is that you max out the level.

Something little with the daily vc bonus. I have three of the same items (300 vc, 5 credits) in the box. It says my prize is double that, cause they are all the same, but I can't claim it. I've already claimed one today. Can you only claim one prize per day, or is this a bug?

You can only claim one prize every 24 hours. The Get Prize button will be grayed out until the timer resets.

All that being said, you are certainly correct about the combine tab on the main menu. So, thank you for the info, if not the tone. I don't know how I overlooked that, maybe because it didn't exist in 2k14, and I just assumed "my Cards" and "quickplay" were the only spots to combine.

You are correct, the note about the Combine bug is in the Release notes. FAQ is more about long term questions. Read the Release notes thread to see specific issues that *hopefully* are only a short term problem. We have a hotfix coming that addresses that Combine issue.

I wanted to address 2 concerns I know multiple people are encountering:


1. Login not working for PSN/XBL/Steam. We don't properly relay information back to you about why you can't login, something we are fixing in our next update. However, what is happening is that you cannot login using PSN/XBL if you either haven't played NBA 2K14 or NBA 2K15. If you haven't played either (with the exact same PSN/XBL account) then it will give you the spinning bball followed by the exclamation point.


2. If you have played NBA 2K14, but not NBA 2K15, it will allow you to login giving you access to the Daily VC Bonus and other NBA 2K15 features in the app. This is in error. It is showing VC building up, but that has nowhere to transfer the VC to since you haven't started an NBA 2K15 account by playing NBA 2K15.


Both are getting addressed in our next update, but in the meantime hopefully this helps you understand some of the login problems you're encountering.


For those of you that have linked your account to other accounts by logging in with multiple accounts cross device. I suggest you go to the Options and logout. Then login with only 1 account that you think is the correct one. Worst case, send in a Feedback mail with all the login details so we can see if we can separate your accounts.

I just downloaded MyNBA2K15 and first thing I did was check the card catalog and the players are spot on with their tier but there is one fatal mistake you made.

Our ratings are obviously set before the NBA Season begins, so players like this we couldn't possibly know how well he would do. We will do another Mid-Season update half way through the NBA Season to add new cards for players that shine.

I just started playing and i sign in using my facebook which i use in mynba2k14 and i got my loyalty cards but i didnt get any other cards so i can't play. How do i fix that?

Did you crash or something during your first play? Sounds like the starter pack never got given out to you. The only way we can fix it is to give you some starter cards. You'll need to send in a Feedback ticket so we can look up your account and send you some cards.

So is there any time frame for this update? I still have gotten 0 loyalty rewards cards thanks to the 2K sports login fiasco. I have sent in two feedback emails and gotten no response on either one. It's very frustrating when I'm losing to players with 5 games played because they have cards that I should have as well. It would be nice just to get a straight answer on this as I'm sure I'm not the only one having this very annoying problem.
