Hello,

if I'm in a star tier in quick game. Should I be more "lucky" to do some legendary drops?

At the moment during my reset boards on Star tier I drop:

84 Rare
22 Super Rare
14 Ultra Rare
9 Season Boost
3 Epic

if I jump up to star and get the freebie does my counter reset? should I stay in Leg++ until I get a reset?

No, that is how the game is designed. There is only a small chance in getting Legends. Live with the Rare ones

First 20 games in epic++, most in leg/+, first board in leg++ got LMA

Early reset in 124 board (only 1 epic & 1 leg).. Perfect in time for begin the RC

Got my star + reset at 252 boards. Was a mix of star and star+. 0 legs and 1 epic

I'm in a star tier and i drop Legendary Griffin. I don't think my counter goes to 0 after that.
Because it is less than my tier. Should I continue to do board reset for star?

Yes continue doing star, that hasn't reset your star counter.

So I'm currently at star, but I was trying to change my lineup for more favourable RC matchups, and I dropped down to leg++, I didn't play a game though. Did I accidentally reset my star counter?
