The new season reward system is awful and will actually hurt CD in a way. There is not enough incentive to try to win after the first round. There will definitely not be enough incentive to purchase Boosts anymore. This will kill any revenue they were making on boosts.

Re: Feedback on the Update
Absolute garbage update. Anybody that followed the main thread knows how much players like me needed/wanted the auction house to upgrade our decks but after this I refuse to use the BB gift card that I had been saving for the auction house with the newest slap in the face.
Players are already tanking in my playoffs because of this crap since it's pointless unless you're the best team. However it's good in a way because I don't have to buy boosts for three rounds anymore since only the top two teams are even going to try. I've spent around $100 (a drop in the barrel compared to a lot of you) on this game but not a dollar more.
(Yes I posted this in all three threads to ensure CD sees it, although they obviously don't care)IGN: secrules2

Re: Feedback on the Update
The 30% tax isn't there as a complete money grab... it's there to stop people from straight trading to an instant full star pro lineup. I personally wouldn't want to do it because I would reach my highest attainable line up by the end of the next few weeks and would lose interest in continuing. If other's were able to do it, I'd be completely screwed in seasons. Even giving us the ability to earn any free credits isn't something they had to do, so the fact that in 7 hours I will have a free 7.2k+ credits is pretty damn awesomeIGN: UncleDrew

Feedback on the Update
They should have just left the AH out. CD was so worried that the AH would cannibalize pack sales that they implemented a poorly thought out solution. Granted they tried to fix the mess they created initially with the generous rewards for star tier, but in doing so they have ultimately ruined what was once a pretty good experience. All they have done is create animosity against them and even if they change it back, they will lose a good percentage of loyal customers.
Greed will always be the downfall in the end.

Re: Feedback on the Update
I agree with Pims, its not that 400 cred = 2 Star cards, its that 3 star cards as a reward was absolutely ridiculous! The current rewards are actually really good IF it started there, but with everyone stuck on getting 3 Star cards this is too drastic a change..
Starting the game today, with no knowledge of the previous reward system, would you complain about getting a star card just for making it to the 2nd round? Or double Leg just for making the playoffs?Comment

Re: Feedback on the Update
Although I do agree with the new season rewards kind of sucking... I was so excited to maybe reach the finals in my 1st star season and as the playoffs began this new system kicked in. The champ should probably at least get 2 stillIGN: UncleDrew

30% is a complete money grab, especially considering the fact that using a purchased card to pro or train another card results in the lack of ability to resell.Comment

Re: Feedback on the Update
Agree with your thoughts...
1) Minimum BINs are just too high. Also look into adding some decreased duration times (30 mins, 1 hour, etc) in AH. A "watch listing" would be nice as well.
2) Season rewards shouldn't have drastically changed that much. I think people would be fine with winning 2 Star + 200-400 coins. Taking away 2 stars and replacing with 400 coins isn't right.
Overall, I'm fine and even happy with the other changes. It's those two issues which are showstoppers and should be addressed.

Re: Feedback on the Update
Disappointed but not surprised.
They gave away more credits than I initially thought they would in seasons but at the expense of extra cards which is horrible!
I still believe the original auction house was hurting sales, hence all the drastic changes. It was too easy for free players to make credits by playing seasons and selling their cards every couple of days. People getting 3 star cards at a time will have no real reason to buy credits if they can just sell their cards for them.
They probably frowned on all the card trade talk on the board too, too easy to make deals.
I wonder if the new game mode was also brought on to slow down sales on the AH? As soon as he announced that you will need a 25 card deck, everyone was thinking about just keeping their cards instead of selling.
Too late in the game for the season changes, now those who were already in star have a huge advantage as it's going to take the rest of us that much longer to have a comparable deck.
Oh well, we asked for more credits and we got em...IGN: Richard

Re: Feedback on the Update
If you're going to reduce rewards for seasons, you have to reduce the completely absurd run time as well.
KOTR in Supercard takes almost half the time of a season and gives twice the rewards for a win. And that's AFTER the rewards were nerfed.
It is absolutely unreasonable for me to spend four days to have a tiny chance of getting an upgrade for my deck. If I want to buy a star that will be an upgrade for me from the AH, I need 10,000 credits. That's 25 1st place finishes in a star season. Assuming you can win 25 straight, that is more than three months of nonstop seasons to be able to afford ONE CARD. And if you're managing a paltry 80% season win rate, you're adding WEEKS to that number. Totally ****ing absurd.
And this is not even mentioning how this affects lower tiers.Comment
