In between the past two RTTC's (this one and the last one) I have spent 0$ and have gotten 1 PO reset, yet I went from being unable to win +2s at all last RTTC to winning almost 100% of the time.

Same here. If you don't improve your lineup in two weeks you're doing something drastically wrong.

I've could win +2 on POTG last time, and I can win +5 now. All good.

Difficulty goes with progression. I was doing plus 2s last time fairly easily this time I'm doing plus 5s like nothing. I went from 10 po pros to 16. Just improve your decks.

I did improve my deck from last RttC and yet, somehow, on the same level as last RttC, I'm winning significantly less games. Why make the POTG more difficult than last time and, if you do, why not at least mention it?

lol, it's not like you guys signed a contract or anything... And lets not forget that originally, the difficult of the PO and Great tier, was as is now. Hard.

They lowered it, and after 2-3 RttCs they decided that it was now time to raise it again, coz obviously, players' decks have gotten a lot stronger.

I mostly agree with the sentiment that people are getting way too angry about a game. Don't forget people, this is a free game. You can play it all you want 100% for free.

I don't know what was said before. If the guy straight up lied, then ya there is cause for anger no matter what kind of game it is. But just because they made RTTC harder and didn't tell anyone?

On that note, it doesn't really make sense that they would make it harder because people's decks got better. Isn't that the point? If every time my deck gets better things get harder...I'm not actually getting better at all. It takes all my motivation away.

I've added 5 PO cards (1 support), one star pro, and 3 legendary pros. But I'm barely beating +2s when last time I was about on the 50/50 fence. The worst cards in my RTTC lineup are a couple of single stars. Maybe I've been playing worse this time, because it actually does take some strategy and skill to beat a deck higher than yours, but the increase to me was kind of from left field. I'll be in PO+ QG after I collect my Kemp, and will be in Star++ RTTC... I shouldn't have to run myself into the ground over a weekend to get a PO card.


But then again, I only bought one HS pack. So they took my time, rather than my money this week.

Maybe i am the one thinking weird, but i dont think that if you have single Stars and Pro Legs in your LU, you should be able to win the last tier card...

Well I don't win the last tier card, I win the second to last, only with the use of hotstreaks. Seems logical to me... That's just me tho...

lol, sorry my bad. I misread your post, i thought you meant the Great. Still tho, you're able to win the PO with Pro Legs and Stars in your LU. I think that's normal.

The problem isn't the difficulty increase, it is the fact that these guys make stealth changes like this without communication. A number of people bought the big hotstreak pack (156 not 75 like you said earlier) on the premise they would be able to HS through the Great.

This wasn't some wishful thinking this was based on +7 on PO and +2 on the Great over the last few RttC events then lo and behold they get to the PO cars and where previously their weaker decks were succeeding they are now failing.

1. Where was the announcement they were changing the difficulty, significnatly? There was none, they knew players wouldn't buy the hotstreaks until they saw if they could beat the new tiers

2. How does this jump in difficulty gel with NWG posts about playing PO seasons to improve your deck (RttC was the only place HoF rewards has ANY use) and being rewarded for continuing to improve your deck? My deck is probably 3 playoff pros better than last RttC but I struggle this time round?!? Where is the reward for working to improve my deck?

FYI before the flames, I got Pippen and in the end I did it without grinding losses so I technically shouldn't care but that doesn't change how this company and its representatives continually mislead and screw over their customer base.

I can't be competitive in a PO season so I tank the last 20 or so games (what fun...), Nothing sells on the auction house so I can't get credits to buy PO cards either. Grinding quick games gets me a PO card in 2 weeks. I'm guessing it will take me about 4 months at that pace to get enough PO pros to get the Great in RTTC now! I think this game is broken for me now. 😔

I got it with 6 PO pros, 3 single greats and 12 star pros.

I have made all my PO pros by trading with others so they only cost 2,250 each. I have no great pros

Thanks! I'd love to trade for dupes but I have a whole 450 credits so I can't buy one. I keep trying on AH with my MVP Kobe, legends and epics. Hope to have credits again some day but I'm giving up hope.

My Rttc deck is Playoff+ (quarter filled bar). When that doesnt even get you +2 wins against the great, what is going to get you +5 or +7 wins?

I managed to get my fifth PO pro during this Rttc, and that seems to be the bare minimum to succesfully win most of your +2 against the great.

I had 5 PO Pro, 9 Star Pro and 4 PO RC/Great (Curry,Blake,Magic,D-Rob). Single PO cards do nothing for you anymore on PO great level (only good as throw in for 2v2 matchups).
I relied heavily on the 4 PO RC/Greats to win me the 2 required single matchups. What really helps as well to have most of your Star pro have team ability and be in the correct position. Cards like Star Pro Conley and LeBron were clutch for me and got me a bunch of much needed single wins.

I dont mind that they upped the difficulty, but i think it was a bit to much. It hardly leaves them any room to up it again. At +2 greats they should have left in a few single greats not fully trained, now everything was a minimum 50/50 single and some Greats Pro.

Next time CD, please be so kind to inform people beforehand. And try to increase the difficulty in smaller steps. That should allow players a better chance to adjust and strengthen their lineup.
