You do realise that the teams that activated the perk after the "fix" already played under the new drop rate.
So all it does is make you grind another 2-6 hrs for 0 star contracts all over again (and spending more RP for double picker!).

Yes, I am aware of that. There's gotta be a way for them to view the list of teams claimed their perks between nerfing of the rate and before they raised it. They should reassign the perk to those teams. If they are truthful in saying SC should be dropping in a more reasonable rate now, we will just claim the perk during RTTC to make it part of the grind.

Now, if teams are still pulling 0 SC again after the update, there's gonna be hell to pay for them.

Anyone remember the goals? How they made the goals timer 24h after it used to reset at a certain time? then claimed that all of us were wrong and thats how it always was. Lol that didn't last long before they realised we're not as dumb as they think they are.The mere fact that they're increasing the drop rate now shows they decreased it since they didn't anticipate them dropping that often.

I'm glad they increased the drop rate in response to outrage but it just seems they're not at all willing to reward those who keep their company and game alive.
Only 25 teams received the star contracts perk, thats 375 people out of thousands who had a chance to get star contracts. I think their argument is they want to avoid a 'rich get richer poor get poorer' situation and to avoid the legendary market being hurt by the influx of star contracts but by the same token why do you keep refusing to fix seasons and season matchmaking? As of now no matter how much I try I am unable to win a season without buying RS packs, it should be difficult yes but not impossible.

Seems to me CD should concentrate on issues that benefit them as well and not just remove anything and everything that even remotely benefits the player (without paying but even paying doesn't give a rewarding experience) I like this game and I understand they're doing their best to provide us with a quality experience, but it just seems like CD are completely against providing a rewarding experience for players and are keen to capitalise on our continued patronage. Good game, Terrible, Awful Customer relations and support.

@NWGameDad, since you nerfed the drop rate to practically nothing, would you please make good agent longer? There is no point on keeping it so short if you aren't pulling contracts like you used to. This perk is as good as foiler as it stands now which is next to useless. Please think of your customers. Thanks in advance.

He said he raised it again. I doubt by much, but let's just wait and see before making assumptions. I agree that first nerf was too much. Several teams getting 0? That's unacceptable. But I imagine that won't happen, and if it does it will be extremely rare. If I am wrong, then something needs to change and NWGD will hear the backlash for sure. I except a 2hour grind of 15ppl to pull roughly 5-10 SC.

It was nerfed multiple times. The first few days was the standard drop rate guys were excited and quick to boast about getting 8 star contracts in 2 hours etc. that ruined that rate. A week or two after however, they nerfed the rate again (the rate were complaining about now). Apparently it was nerfed a third time and than buffed slightly says danan.

Ok, first of all let me say I apologize for not being on the board recently. Our Studio shutdown for the end of December to give everyone on our team some much needed rest. I am not trying to dodge your questions about the Good Agent perk, just been playing catch up from being out.


As for the Good Agent perk, we checked all of the data from the last couple weeks to see what was going on. We found a bug in the drop rate code that was providing Veteran Contracts at a much higher rate than intended. Since the Good Agent swaps Star Contracts in for the Veteran slot and Veterans into the Rookie slot, the Star Contracts ended up dropping at a better rate. The bug was to the advantage of the players. You got a lot of extra Star Contracts.


On Monday we fixed the bug. Most teams had executed their Good Agent Perks already so the effect of the fix would not impact a huge number of people. However, obviously some of you got the fixed drop rates. Granted certainly not as good as what you experienced with the bug, but the Star Contracts were still dropping, which is what is promised from the Super Perk. We should have informed people of the change, but we didn't think the change would be so dramatic, absolutely our bad for not communicating it right away.


I have read through the feedback from everyone and talked it over with the team, and ~30 minutes ago we made a change to the drop rates to increase the drop rate for Veteran Contracts (and subsequently Star Contracts when Good Agent is activated). It is definitely not as good as what teams experienced on the first one, but it should not be as terrible as what some teams experienced in the last 2 days. With that said, it is random. It is a chance to receive a Star Contract not a guarantee. Some players/teams will simply be luckier than others. If you have constructive feedback on what your drops were during your Good Agent Perk duration then please post it. Keep in mind this does mean that Veteran Contracts will be harder to get now from the Draft Board. The rate you gain them in normal play will be a good example of what to expect when Good Agent is active for Star Contracts.

So CD is not doing anything to make up to those who claimed the perk during the nerfed drop rate period huh? Great, just as I expected.

Our team got a total of 6 in 2 hours. Anyone else notice only 1 extra on a board sometimes. Not only did they nerf the vet contract drop rate, but they nerfed the extras on the draft board. CD stooping to new lows again...

I wonder why Danan didn't mention this... why is a little transparency so difficult? We find out anyway, this is not the first report of only 1 extra slot I've read.

I cleared quite afew boards till the very last pick. I noticed there's only one extra that appeared. Clearly they think that we wouldn't find out. They will give some dumb excuses like we counted wrongly or thats not possible or we have no evidence of it.

@NWGameDad Can we get an answer to this? Why are people now only pulling 1 extra from a draft board on occasion? It has been stated there are supposed to be 2 extras per board. Also, can you increase vet contract drop rate again? With double picks plus And 1 active, again I got 0 star contracts during 2 hour good agent. My team got a whopping 6 star contracts total. I believe that the nerf instituted goes too far in limiting star contracts. If you want to limit something, limit rookie contracts, they drop like flies. Vet contracts need a boost.
