Why can't EA make Live games Look Realistic?

Like those 2k b-ball games, i seen the new pictures of the utah jazz guy and the bobcats fellow but wow that is disappointing. Old 2K games looked better then that, even early Nba lives( from this gen ) looked better then that. why can't they do it?.

I like the Live '06 graphics.

I mean graphics aren't what make or break a game you know. Inside Drive wasn't the best looking eaither.

Graphics are make or break when the graphics in a game are so bad that you sometimes can't even tell what is happening on the court.

Honestly, I think for Live on current gen, it might be one of those situations this time around....Especially if that mofo is $50. I'm pretty sure that could be the pricetag on that bad fella too....

They shouldve kept the NBA Live 2000 (PS2) player models. Thats when it looked real good. Now its more cartoon like with an arcade feel to it. I used to swear Live was the s**t but when i played 2K5 i would never play Live again until EA steps their game up. Too much fluff (shoes, tattoos and dunk contest) and not enough substance (graphics, gameplay, DEFENSE!)

We also should blame ourselves for accepting to buy crap just cuz its an EA game. Seems that EA puts alot of work in to every other EA title and when its time for Live, they just half *** it and we accept it cuz it has some new stupid *** feature..............whoa........let me calm down.....

I don't know about live 06 but that was the situation in live 05. I would be playing or watch someone play and stuff would happen and no one would know what or how the player made a shot or dribbled or anything.

I owned 2K and not Live last year, but you could definitely tell when someone was dribbling or when points were scored in Live. Give me a break, and give it up before you dig yourself a bigger hole.

20/20 vision. It's not like I was the only one who saw that sometimes it was hard to see what was happening during the game.

Clearly, this was a slightly off topic response. Still, I get what you're saying. Honestly, the graphics were that bad where you couldn't see some things. It was horrible cause the gameplay was nice but choppy. Some things just didn't seem right.
