    I think this forum is biasand here's why.....

    It appears to me any time a discussion comes up on the Live forums about a flaw in 2K's game the thread gets LOCKED.

    I've been very quite in regards to this but it is becoming quite apparent to me now that it it depends on which forum you post remarks about a certain games flaws.

    If you head over to 2K's forum which I very rarely do you see topics about guy's stating why they enjoy 2K's game more than LIve and those thread blow up within a day. Guy's rip Live apart yet the thread never get's locked....

    I've enjoyed posting over here at OS but this seems to be a major issue. The same thing happened on the NHL Forums when those games were released. I would really like to know what justifies a thread getting locked on Live Forums as opposed to 2K's forums?

    I know this thread will probably get locked aswell because I mentioned these actions. But it is becoming clear as day that any discussions regarding flaws in realtion to 2K's game over here will be LOCKED. But if you head over to thast side of the alley everything is all good anf freedom of speech is accepted aslong as Live is being BASHED.

    I could care less if a guy doesn't enjoy Live but what bother me is that they can pretty rip the game apart yet no actions are taken. Then as soon as a thread pops up regarding 2K it gets LOCKED. Take a look at the thread posted today by SIRJAM. I didn't see anything different in that thread from the one posted over at 2K's forum accept the fact that the SIRJAM's thread was locked.


    Why is this thread still open it talks about the same things. It's just over on 2K's froums and it praises the game over Live. Which is not any different from what the thread created by SirJam posted.

          Yawn.. Yes we are all 2k fanboys.

          That never gets old. Tomorrow we'll do something else, and a 2k fan will call us Live fanboys. Happens every year.

                  I agree totally. First off, screw 2k sports. Their character models look f'n tarded. Plus, the ESPN fanboys who couldn't raise enough money from their bake sale to give them the exclusive license from the NFL are still sore. So they will try their hardest to diss madden, live or hell even the rugby series. If these meatheads could they would. My recommendation is put down the controller, stop playing football and basketball games, and concentrate your time on something you are truly good at....like not getting laid.

                                  I was thinking the same thing Playmaker.

                                  It just doesn't make sense at all.

                                  My guess is that the mods don't want to start a flame war, however, over in the other forum , ocassionally Live is trashed and the thread stays open.

                                          I kinda figured that about 2 years ago. If you wanna be cool here, you like anything 2K. If you like NBA Live go to www.nba-live.com.It's that simple. I go here to read, I rarely post nowadays.It's hard for people to like 2 things at once, especially video games-it has to be one or another. I don't think like that, I think that's why I have hard time debating over here. But Steve is real cool. The site has really taken off since the days I use to go here and shoot the shhhhh...

                                              Wow just wow. I would just like to say that your opinion on the 2k player models imo is totally wrong. Also I got to play NBA Live 06 at Best Buy the other day and to tell you the truth it was horrible. I used to love the Live series but it has been worse and worse every year. FSS is way too good and overall the feel of the game was bland. I'm hoping EA can bounce back for next year so we can have 2 good basketball games out there but I just dont see that happening.

                                                  To be honest, I don't think it's on purpose. I don't think the mods are in the Live forums as much, so they may flat out miss some of the threads there you are talking about. If you see one that looks like flamebait, hit that little red flag that notifies the staff of a potential problem post/thread.
