I haven't watched it, but it was posted today so I figured I'd give you all some heads up:

The pace of the game definately is slower than the current gen version it seems to me. The alley oop to Ben Wallace looked great. We he dunked it the crowd in the back jumped up and got louder as he threw it down. That was nice. The court also looks very, very good. It looks real. The player closeups look very good but they have got to do something about the way the players slide around the court. It just looks ridiculous. Based on a minute long clip it looks more sim than arcadey to me. I look forward to some more polished footage in the next few weeks. Dam it would be great if they sold this a little cheaper because of all the stuff they took out of the game.

No problem. It's not a bad download... it's pretty much two users going at it, and throwing alleyoops the whole time. The presentation of the game is really nice, as are the graphics. The animations look really off though. I can't pinpoint what it is.

Either way, I'll still be getting it when it comes out.

It does look very good but the skating has got to go. Since I don't have the current gen live I probably will pick this up. So are the "freestyle superstar" abilities not in the next gen version?

I also like that ticker at the top of the screen thats constantly showing stats during breaks in play.

I agree. Presentation and graphics are TOO GOOD when thrown in with the crappy animations.. it almost seems like the ball is skipping frames when its moving along with the passes.

I dont have the 60 dollars extra to buy the game, so its not getting bought this year plain and simple.

It doesnt look to be worthy of an addiotional purchase, seeing as how I already have live on pc.

Looks good but the animations absolutely kill the game. The same overhead announcer just has that blah feeling to it as well, but they need to fix those animations. Its just not a good fit for those otherwise nice player models.

I really dig the court lighting, and the graphics are good, but the gameplay still looks the same ole nba live. I'm looking for new gameplay, but with such less time for them to make a next-gen game, I can understand that they made a similar type of gameplay to the current-gen lives. Same goes for 2k.

I hate that overhead announcer, thats my big pet peeve about live. He's been in there since Mitch Richmond was on Live 97 I believe it was.

I'm not liking the teleporting passing still being in the game. I wish there was a better physics system for that. I liked the flow of it cause it looked pretty nice. Still choppy or something. Looks like the same system with a graphical upgrade. Definitely would like to see how the presentation looks. I like the robotic lookng rim on the real. Sweet how it just came up during one of the cutscenes. This was the intro of course. Darn, I only wish that they would get rid of the skating and bullet passes. Maybe I'm whining too much huh? Still, I'm going to put a few fingers on that game....

I'm seeing the skating, but it isn't as noticible as current gen. The graphics are absolutly jaw-dropping. Every time they show a close up, my jaw hits the floor. The Ben oop was sick. The crowd, just everything about that play was awesome. The dribbling needs to be fixed animation wise. 60 bucks and no chise, I don't know, I just don't know.

BTW, Pratt75, Freestyle Superstar are a negaive for this version.

watch the detroit inbound pass. the player moves from side to side in a sliding motion. The sliding is similar to live 2006, with it being toned down.
