Whats everybodys 2 week opinion of Live 07

I just want to see where everybodys at on the second weekend of Live 07(360)

For me...The game has been playin' alot better with playmakers settings and playbooks but, there a some things that when I see them over and over again it takes a little bit of interest out of the game for me. The way players react to loos balls going out of bounce is getting annoying as hell. The low post game is still flawed. The substitution problems are alive and well...I enjoy looking at the game and the atmosphere with the fans but I dont know about yall but I can make a damn freethrow. Last year I played Live 06 for 2 days and traded it in for 2k6 so I didnt spend time with the freethrow system at all. I didnt buy 2k7 yesterday as I said I would last week but..the thoughts keep creepin in. Im starting to feel a little upset at these game companies for short changing the gamers. No graphics in 2k7 and Bad Gameplay in LIVE. The one thing that live has on 2k is..in live you improve he gameplay but in 2k there is no sliders for graphics. thats the only reason im having second thoughts on getting 2k7.

My thoughts on the game after 2 weeks? I should have taken my initial impression and quit playing after the first day.

I can't seem to get into the gameplay at all. It's just not worth it. In my opinion, gameplay is where it's at, and gameplay is not this games strong point.

I am still pissed that Live 07 needs so much work. As I stated before I really liked it the first couple of days, but after that reality set in for me. 2K7 is a far more superb game. The animations are sick/almost lifelike. I want 07 to be good, not even great so bad, I have'nt found the nerve to return it yet.

Talked to Playmaker today and he feels that his sliders/playbooks and whatever othe tweaks he needs to make will make it more enjoyable. But he should not have to do this much tweaking. I think I am going to hold onto it for another week to give Playmaker time to get some more solid sliders.

I am still enjoyinmg the game but their are a few things bothering me like the out of bounce issue that drives me crazy. I dont really have a problem with the substituions because I am seeing plenty of them. Maybe it is because I have the fatigue effect slider set at 100%

sold mine today. could care less about TRYING to make the game play better with sliders now...

it gave me a headache for days.

Only to figure out what i intially doing was wrong and then to have to do it all over again for the sake of still not being completely happy. i said screw it

i guess i have to come to the conclusion that i'm a graphics whore because i'm loving the game. play on 12 min quarters and don't get bored playing. zoom out press and 55 game speed has fixed somewhat the camera and animation issues i had with the game. and pm's sliders and playbooks are helping improve gameplay / flow for me. i guess the main reason i like the game so much is the last 2 years on the ps2 were horrible; go to basket-dunk repeat gameplay, ultimate spiderman player models (http://image.com.com/gamespot/images..._screen004.jpg) and sloppy controls(especially 06 series). i think ea will put more attention and resources towards this series for 08, but not because some online community typed a letter, but becuase their stock went down based on the reviews. even for 2k people, it's about the bottom line.

how much are some of yall getting for trade in value? Despite my gripe with 2k7's graphics..I need to play something that will hold me till next fall..I have never gone a year without a sports game(not counting wwe smackdown...I got all of those games) if I dont buy 2k7 tonight then this will be the first year..cause I gave up on Madden 07 a week after I got it. Too many things wrong with it. What happend to sports gaming since 2004? it seems like game makers are sitting on ther high horse and putting out bs. NFL 2k5 was the last great sports game and in my opinion...Fight Night Round 3(360) comes close but even that game is WAY WAY too easy. This is not a joke..I havent been past the 6th round in that game on hard level and ive fought over 100 fights online and offline. I do want to applaud playmakers hard work on tyring to get NBA Live to play well but, he shouldnt be the savior for a franchise with the most clout in basketball gaminging history. The two letters EA means they should be on top because its been that way for years. I dont really know whats going on at Ea cause if you play a game like NBA steet you have to ask the simple question...Why the F*&k isnt LIVE like this in terms of movements and animation? I think its time for EA to change the studio that makes LIVE.

I'm enjoying it very much...

The graphics, sound, and in-depth Dynasty mode is enough to keep me coming back for more!

The gameplay has it's flaws but they aren't bad enough to keep me from enjoying the game.

The trades annoy me but overall I still like it. I get the feeling I will get sick of it sooner than expected though.

I'm still deciding what NBA game to keep As I currently own both Live 07 and 2K7. i'm seriously considering selling 2K7 because this game is a carbon-copy of 2K6 (with some BS "signature shots" addition).

I have been playing Live 07 for more than a week now and everytime I switch over to 2K7....I immediately go back to Live. 2K7 gets old and boring very quickly. It's a damn shame that 2K packages a Current-Gen game and tries to con it off as a 360 game (YES I have a HDTV but the graphics still suck donkey balls).

I like the fact that I CONTROL the players in Live 07 instead of having the CPU make the shot/pass/dunk/lay-up decision for me. Also Freestyle is 10x better than Isomotion. Sure Live 07 has its falws, but so does 2K7. I can't tell you how many times the game froze up on me with an "unreadable disc" message while playing 2K7. The same garbage that happened with 2K6 last year.

I LOVE the direction that EA Sports is taking with NBA Live. While 2K is content on porting the same crap year in and year out.....EA is starting from scratch and in due time will maximize the full potential of the 360 game console.

I dont' know how anyone can pass on playing 2K7, after playing this piece of poop. The AI is horrendous at times. Whoever was working on the AI should be fired and replaced.

LOL thats the same way i felt, but the truth is hard to swallow for
some, and as a diehard Live fan as i was, its hard to let the game go but 2K blows it out the water and the more i learn isomotion, the better it gets. Anyone who says Live is fun must be off there meds. (no offense to anyone).

The most overused statement by fanboys is EA is building for Next year.
Screw that what about how they screwed there fans this year.
