But seriously, I'm trying to figure out what graphics issue ya'll are talking about????? I explained the big man catch up code and no one can argue that it's there for a purpose and stops the nonsensical cheesing that happens online. As for NBA2KLive (Redskins avatar) I could care less what you play. you like Live, well then brother enjoy it! But pleasepleaseplease, dont sit there and post that Live is a better game than 2K because even though it may be a matter of opinion, you are dead wrong. And it isn't fair to those that read theseposts who try to make an informed decision on which to buy. like I said, I used to LOVE Live, but it is down and out crap this year...straight hot garbage, and that my friend is a fact. Again, I'm not telling you what to play, you do you.

Please show a comparison that shows live looking better. Live does not look that great.

Live looks alot better when you see the two games side-by-side. 2K makes everything look too watery and their color palette doesn't seem too be as large as Live's. Too bad everything else about Live is average to supbar.

I tried to like it i really did. BUT, did EA even look at what people were posting about last year? yes this is supposed to be next gen but come on EA. Stop worrying about graphics, coaches, fans, stadiums etc... and MAKE THE GAME WORTH PLAYING.

There I said it. IM A HUGE NBA LIVE FANBOY AND HAVE BEEN SINCE LIVE 95. I have always bought live over 2k and have yet to play a 2k game BUT, EA YOU ARE KILLING ME.

Please, Im begging you EA. work on game play and the graphic thing can wait. Stop worrying about ESPN and worry about GAME PLAY.

NBA LIVE 2008 WORRY ABOUT GAME PLAY.IT SHOULD BE YOUR #1 PRIORITY.

NOTHING ELSE SHOULD MATTER. NOT SWEET, CHEELEADERS, COACHES, SHOES, FANS, HALF TIME SHOWS, ETC......................

wth are you guys smoking, shaq is pretty damn fast.

live 07 is wack, you can't even compare live to 2k7. 5 minutes is all it took me to realize how horrible live was. months before the game came out when all we had was a couple of gameplay videos people complained about the jerkey animations, the horrible ball physics, the horrendous high arc shots from 7 ft away from basket, with notable quotes such as "2k light years ahead of live" and "2k early pick for game of the year" don't even try to put 2k on the same level as live.


official reviews and User reviews have been pretty unanimous... live is wack, 2k7 sports game of the year.

ok..this i turning into live vs 2k..that was not the intent of this thread. I wanted to see what the people who like Live(not hating on 2k7) thought about the game on the second weekend. If you dont want to give Live a chance or you just hate it then you dont have to post anything. that simple. If I owned 2k7 I would be on the 2k7 board askin the same question.

EA is patching the PC verision wich is where all the big glitches like not using the bench and weak inbounds passes are.

Guys.... this is a question he has about LIVE 07... Not 2k7. Keep it off of 2k7, or else it's getting locked, and we'll have some guys taking a break from the forums.

I would only recommend you give 2K the same 2-weeks you've given Live, and make up your own mind. Both obviously have good and bad points.

Well I just got the game on Friday. Out of the box I was dissapointed but now I find Live very fun and enjoyable. But there are a few things that bother me like the were you are five feet from the basket and you shoot the ball 20 feet in the air. Going after loose balls and going out of bounds. And the thing that gets me the most is the choppy animations and the very frequent offensive fouls that get called when I try to do a scorer move. I also miss way too many FSS scorer lay-ups.

i wont get mad at your point cause you didnt know..I have access to that game whenever I want. My boy has the game we play both almost every day....last weekend we switched games for the 3 days.Right now as I write this I have his game again in my crib(i might pop it in if this Sunday night game gets outta hand)...if you missed my first thread up..we did our own 40 point rating system. its on the next couple pages I think. after a couple weeks Im having trouble liking either game much. Thats what im sayin..I do like live by a small margin right now but thats it. I aint a fanboy of any game or company.

couldnt agree wit you more on the loose ball thing..that is bothering the hell outta me right now. The thing that ea did with the shot is they forgot to change the arc for closer shots. From 3 and mid range the ball travel is on point. when you start to get around the basket it is a little too high. Are you using Playmakers sliders? The foul thing is EA's lazy idea to try and stop you from abusing the FSS. I think it shouldnt be that easy at all.
