I had LIVE in my head twice at two stores in my aera, and I put it back on the shelf, I just couldn't buy it, now I feel going out to get it again before the stores close. I think I have to pick up both of them, just to ease my soul.

It's real decent game this year i'm liking it so far

Yea man...Am a 2k fan and live is a solid game this year... not yet up to 2k but it is a nice step from last year...loving the graphics much better then 2k demo....but gameplay wise 2k still better...but live has improved their gameplay and if they can master better animations and better player models along with better physics we are talking greatness...but it is close....live owners will be happy with this game....

Ok... there's good news and bad news.

Good news:

I like the teams. They really go to their best rated players often. It's really a blast to play with the studs of the US. Some of the other teams are fun as well. Spain and Argentina are a blast to play with. Seems like "authentic" FIBA rules as well.

Bad news:

There are no country specific chants. Where are the Italian's screaming "Italia!" and so forth? They have the same basic dancer intro as a regular NBA game.. with the crowd reacting the same way. "De-fense!" is a chant you hear often in the US Sport, not the international game. It's odd hearing the crowd chant defense in a match between Spain and Argentina. On top of that, the tourney feels similar to any other game. Where are my huge flags in the stands? Take a cue from FIFA games... there's usually a group of 5 people or so holding flags in the crowd... didn't see them. Marv mentions the FIBA once or twice... and that's it. They do say the names of the international players though. And you only play on one court... I'm not familiar if that is how the FIBA championships are played, so forgive me there. I thought the location changed from year to year... here, it's on the same court always.

Overall, it's much more fleshed out than last year with the correct rules. However, it really just feels like a throw in mode. They put care into the players that are on the court, the logos and stickers on the court... and seemingly not much else. One of the coolest things I like in FIBA play is the ability to touch/hit a ball off the rim without worries of being called for a goal-tend. Put in some animations for this specifically for FIBA play fellas!

It's a fun mode that I could've seen myself playing through more than once if those things were implented... but as it is... it makes a nice diversion just to see the international players and that's all.

I didn't have enough time with Be A Pro so I'll try and get to that this weekend.
