not just used buyers but also people who rent it(especially folks from gamefly or other online game rental services) and people who borrow the game the fact that people are defending this i dont get. You are gonna buy the full game good for you your gonna get the code but not everyone will buy the game, so should they be punished because they didnt buy it brand new thats weak.

That's very misleading. T-Mobile is covering the costs not EA. T-Mobile is paying you guys for the right to sponsor the DNA feature. You are profiting off this service.

Also, why should DNA be linked to a user? Why not linked to a game copy? The licensing decision is a direct result of an opportunity to sell additional licenses. It's a very greedy and slimy way of doing business.

Put the Synergy system in each game copy, let TMobile sponsor it, but there should not be a need to sell additional licenses. And on top of that you put DNA in the PSN store hoping for a few users who already have a "free subsidized DNA license" to unknowingly purchase another one. Very misleading. This is dirtier than Madden charging for Alt. Uni's.

20 bucks for one of the main features in the game! Wow, thanks EA.

Let us all pray that EA doesn't get the exclusive rights to the NBA because then who knows what they will think about charging for.

I know I'm going to get ripped hard for defending EA in this incident.

While I do think $20 is extreme. $10 would have been sufficient.

But a bunch of you are overreacting, since I'm in corporate business. I'll just lay it down in business English.

EA makes their numbers and money off of retail copies sold new!!!

When lamestop and other companies sell used copies 100% of the profits goes to lamestop and EA doesn't make a dime.

Regardless on how much money as a whole EA has, you can't blame the NBA team for wanting to get something out of providing us with the Synergy technology stuff.

When you buy used your paying 5 dollars less than a new copyl! Which is a rip off and stupid! Why not just spend the extra five and get it new!!! Problem solved 365 is free.

When you buy it off a buddy, its way cheaper than $60, so spend the $20 on 365! Dumb move again. Why not just get it retail EA gets paid. And argument over.

Fact is if other companies, Ebay, lamestop, blockbuster etc Are going to profit from paying some young sap $15 to $25 bucks for their game. And they resale it for $55 Who's really ripping you off.

EA will still be providing their service, they are just trying to profit off the biggest piece of the pie. It's business and they still have to make money.

Don't be jumping down Steph or Beluba or whoever else works for EA for trying to pay off Synergy and T-mobile etc for all the fees they are getting for marketing and usage of name, etc.

That's business and everyone has to make bread to keep the business moving forward.

Do you know how to READ?

It's been stated numerous times now that the DNA 365 feature is FREE (aka NO CHARGE, aka NOT A DIME) for those who purchase the game new.

You ONLY pay the $20 fee IF you purchase Live 09 where the code was already activated. I'm sure there will be some used copies floating around where the code won't be used/activated.

IF anyone deserves the profits from this game, it should be the one who actually developed and implemented the DNA feature (ie EA Sports).....not some 3rd party game retailer who is ripping off the public.
