Will it be all in one button or maybe use the right shotstick? Hmmm..

Re: Ask the devs a question
I'm considering switching from 2K to NBA Live, but one of the reasons I did not do it this year was that you charged extra for NBA LIVE 365 for my brother to get his rosters updated in his own account, when 2K did not. As one of the main reasons I prefer the PS3 is that me and my brother can have our own accounts and we don't need to pay extra, will this happen again in NBA LIVE 10?It's a failure on 3 levels: programming/QA/Production. That's all I can say.-iminurbaseComment

Re: Ask the devs a question
Consolidating the shot mechanics into one button did not come at the expense of control. In fact, you will have a great deal more control over how you shoot the basketball in every way in Live 10. I didn't really want to "announce" this change yet because it's really just a small part of the bigger design around shooting... and it will make more sense once I explain how the whole system works.Comment

Re: Ask the devs a question
We're planning on something for the draft, but what you see in Madden is a bit different than what we can do for a few reasons, most importantly, when players are drafted, they aren't automatically signed to the players union which makes us unable to release screens of every player.Follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/stephensonmc

Re: Ask the devs a question
Will dribbling look more realistic in Live 10? In past Live games the players look as though they don't even let go of the ball when dribbling. Like the ball is just an extension of their hand. This is either do to poor ball physics, player arms being too long, or a combination of both.Comment

Re: Ask the devs a question
Oops, my bad for putting words in your mouth, Beluba... I think you responded to a "will you use RS for shooting?" question and said that you're sticking with the button mechanic... that's where I got that from.
Anyway, that's welcome news even though I did get used to the two button system. That just opens up more real estate for other controls, which will be great. If we have more control over shooting and a button freed up for something else, I'm all for it.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: Ask the devs a question
how about including retro jerseys for the thunder? they are still the same franchise although they don't carry the sonics name... or how about create a team that allows you to customize logos and colors? just something simple like choosing the text so i can spell out "Seattle" or whatever on a jersey or logo... and make the jerseys green and gold...
you guys should include all-time teams in these games... like all-time bulls, all-time lakers, all-time sixers you know...
i'm looking forward to nba live next year, it's been a while...Comment

Maybe made into an actually be a pro mode kinda like Sony's NBA 09 series or FIFA 09's version of it? Anyways just want to know from a general standpoint where that mode is going.Last edited by chrome381; 04-27-2009, 04:45 PM.Comment
