Dynasty question for the guys who worked on the game. Sort of a strange thing going on in mine. The Detroit Pistons have removed Rasheed Wallace from their starting lineup and plugged Jason Maxiell in that spot.

Is dynasty mode programmed to change starting lineups throughout the season? I've never seen this before if true but I was just wondering why the Pistons would have had Wallace coming off the bench. The really weird thing though is that if you look at their player rotation, Wallace has the PT full bar and Maxiell has it halfway up, yet is still starting.

Yeah I know what your talking about. This was the same problem last year that took the fun out of playing dynasty mode. I thought they fixed this problem, but I guess not.

I am playing Dynasty on 09 for ps2 and normally during the seasons in past years I play games where I play a quarter or two and for the other quarters I go to controller select option where you can go from user control to CPU control. Do you know if this option is still available? I do keep seeing a select controller option before each game but it is dark and won't let me down to it. Anyone who can help with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Why is it so hard to rebound using player lock (PS3/360)? Is there a fix for this? Also, will player lock be coming to Wii for Live '10?

Didn't want to put this in the Wishlist thread because I just want to make sure that I'm correct.

Goaltending - Foul situations:
When you go up and get fouled and your shot gets goaltended, aren't you still allowed to go to the line for 1 shot?

I believe so.

When this happens in Live 09, you get the 2 points for the goal tend, but you do not get to go to the FT line. The other team gets the ball on an out of bounds situation.

I believe this is wrong. Anyone??

Hmm, yeah, I think you're right. A shooting foul plus a goaltend should be 2 points plus the extra free throw.

I haven't had the situation in Live yet (all my goaltending calls so far have come from non-shooting fouls). Based on your experience, it is wrong.

I get it once a game. Probably my shooting foul slider settings.

Why do I have to call more than 1 timeout sometimes to get to the strategy to adjust my getback/crashboards box out/fastbreak sliders???? How come it's not ALWAYS available? And how come it's not even in the pause menu where you make defensive and offensive adjustments???

Why in the world am I unable to move my man when players are fast breaking??? The offensive can continue moving there guy to the rim for an easy dunk while I'm still in the shuffling my feet animation and I'm about to break my controller cause I got the left stick move all the way toward the rim yet my player is just force field stuck in this animation???

I definitely hate this. When you're on offense and there's a timeout, that's when you get the getback/crashboards box out/fastbreak options. When you're on defense and there's a timeout, that's when you get the defensive matchups and other defense related options. (I think)

You should be able to adjust everything on any timeout! And you should be able to adjust everything before tip-off, and when you pause the game!

Yo developers,

Thanks for a much improved and enjoyable game. A couple thoughts if you don't mind.

1)Who made the call to have the Ranked games on XBOX Live Allstar and not Superstar? Superstar games really show off what this game can do and lessen those cheese plays.

2)From an Online roster standpoint, I'd make a case that injuries (especially minor ones where the player may only miss a game or two) shouldn't take players out of the line up for online ranked games. Injuries are great for Rewind games and a cool "realalistic" feature for Dynasty play but don't really fit for online games. First, when a player misses only one game for a tweaked knee, he can't be used online sometime for 3 or 4 days if his team has a couple days off. With longer injuries (D. Williams, Parker, Arenas, Manu) those teams never get used anyway. I've played about 140 ranked games (ranked about 200 overall) and only played against the Spurs, Wiz and Jazz a combined 3 times. I mean the Jazz had 3 starters on the IR the other day. Maybe if the injuries weren't such a major factor when picking teams I could play against a team other than the Cheesers...opps I mean Lakers. Couldn't you make it so that you can rearrange the players on the IR during the starting line up screen?

If the above change doesn't happen(probally impossible) could we at least ask that at the end of the season or after a team is eliminated from the playoffs that you can wipe out the injuries? In Live 08 the rosters were updated a few days afte Yao wen't out for the year and he couldn't even be used during the offseason while we were waiting on Live 09.
